HTTT Reunion?

Sorry I missed out...RL drama to deal with. I'll try to catch up with you guys level wise! .

We'll be running Sunday night to close out 2x xp weekend. The bulk of the regulars are levels 37-40. We'll be finishing up Sister Airlia's arc and then running patron arcs.

I think this is another anti-dom conspiracy because the devs knew we were getting close to lvl 50 again.

I'd like to have us try and run the ITF tonight. I may be on a little past 8, but I know Romulus will patiently wait for his smackdown.

Well lemme just put this out there in response to the ITF idea:

The last time we tried an all dom run at it with lvl 45s (tribal earth team), we rolled the SF up until Romi. We just couldn't put out enough DPS to take him down with the healing nictus. Then, once the nictus blooms came, we'd get wiped.

Now, that was before the dom revamp of I15. It was also with a team of 5 or 6 iirc.

So theoretically, we should be able to pull this off simply with a team of 8 and the increased dmg 100% of the time. A well-timed SoC on the nictus bloom would come in handy, too.

Having 2 Gravity Doms on the team is an automatic win.

How many of the 6 who started are still logged onto the ISF? We were down to 4 when I logged and I suggested we stay in the SF to formulate a plan to take down Romi and his nicti.

I was thinking we should load up with some Shivans and HVAS, and maybe some rockets, then whomp on Romi.

Any other ideas? Pulling him and then immobing works pretty well, but we need to boost our DPS to take out his separated nicti. Thus, I was thinking the EB pets.

Just as long as everyone shows up on time, I'll be there with shivans.

It totally sucks we couldn't take down Rom last night. We may have to stack holds on it while keeping everything else immobilized and attack it from range so it has a harder time healing off of us. Does anyone know if it can be held?

Otherwise, we may have to tackle it once we're all 50.

I tried immobilizing the nicti and it didn't seem to work on any of them. Romi, on the other hand, is easy to immob. But unless you can separate the 2 with something like taunt, I don't see that strategy as feasible.

I think we just need a larger team. Then, get a couple people with some good resistance/defense to melee with Rom while the rest of us stay at range. That would minimize the heals and give us enough damage to take him down fast. Plus, we definitely need one person dedicated to killing those spawned nicti that keep shooting us from range.

Congrats to those who made the ride to 50. I know a couple others are close, but I'll be afk for a week, so I can't help you with those last 2 levels.

I only saw DC on last night, so I'm not sure if we're wrapped up with this or not.

I wouldn't have minded getting my last level and a half myself, but lack of PuGs on Pinnacle is somewhat disheartening.

Sorry I missed the wrap up. But after over a year of being unemployed I landed a job. The hours are long though, so I[ve not had much time for gaming. Gratz to all those who made it 50 though..amazing job.
