HTTT Reunion?
I'm having similar ugers to shelve Dr. Wormwood in favor of Dr. Synder. Something about Fire/Fire excites me...

I just got back from a month out of the country and a friend of mine in the group mentioned this to me. I've had trouble leveling doms in the past, but this sounds like fun. Additionally, I already have a dom on Pinnacle around level 20 so sounds like I can fit right in.
Miss Hysteria is Mind/Psi, and I believe she is Magic origin. However, she is more Goth than Old English in look. I hope joining with an existing toon is acceptable. I'll get on tonight to made sure she's up to snuff and maybe catch an sgi.
-King
Edit: I'd love to join the SF tomorrow as well. I'll make sure she's at least 20.

Woot, King is in!
I'd also like to see if we could run my MA arc before we do Silver Mantis. I rant it a few times solo to get a feel for the powers I chose for my baddies, but I've yet to run it on larger teams to see how it goes.
I spent a good amount of time on the story when it was in beta, so I hope everyone likes it. Arc ID is 2825 if anyone wants to take a peek at it ahead of time.

What's the level range?
Please buff Ice Control.
I'm in for Silver Mantis. I'm loving getting to know redside better since, sadly most everyone I know in game plays nearly exclusively blueside so it's been difficult for me to break over. I'm loving the feel for Lady and I wanna take her all the way with this team, though I rolled an alt that I'd also love to work on sometime, only issue being that on the off-nights I don't usually have a ton of time to play. Guess I'll just have to see how things work once my work schedule regularizes.
I got Miss Hysteria into the SG last night, but didn't see Mel. Looks like we'll have 2 full teams for Thu.
On our list we have:
Silver Mantis SF (20-25)
Helen's MArc
Anyone have Lorenz Ansaldo's Strike breaker mission?
Please buff Ice Control.
I hope to be on by 9. If you could do the other stuff before the SF that would be great. If not, I will just catch up later.
The level range for my MA arc is 1-54 since they're custom critters, so it should scale to our appropriate level. I'll double check it when I get home from work to make sure since I made it a while ago. I have a defender around our current level, so that would be a good litmus test.
I'm like ugly on an ape with this.
I'm working on getting Strike Breaker as we speak although it's with the Viscountess de Lune. I'd it on both my Brimstone Clubbers as it's needed for Megalomaniac Accolade.
I can play either the Viscountess (lvl 22) or the Baron von Ruwen (lvl 23) for the SF. I'll most likely go with Baron as his DEF debuffs will make short work of Sky Raider FF.
I recommend everyone planning to do the SF(s) grab either or both temp stealth/invis powers from Bloody Bay and Sirens Call patrol missions.
For anyone who hasn't run the Silver Mantis SF before, here's a link to the wiki entry for it.

Hmm so I have my lvl 22 Mind/Thorns and my Lvl 22 Grav/Psi. My inclination is to go with the mind/thorns as I believe he has bit more AoE control potential. Ugh..decisions, decisions.

Working on getting Wormwood to 22-23 so I can be a more effective teammate for the TF! Let's see those raiders dodge mind bullets with their fancy FFs!
When there is no room left in Hell, the Dead shall walk the earth.
I was part of "Team 1" last night. It was a safe, moderately paced experience. I guess that's to be expected of doms at level 20-25, with the primary more developed and the secondary lacking heavy hitters. Can't imagine things being safer than Mass Hypnosis > Seeds > do whatever you want.
My guy (er, demoness) is ice/thorn, because I've never played any ice, never played any thorn. So far, I love the secondary and... am still trying to figure out how to play ice/. Now that I've got to SOs, I can get Ice Slick up more and maybe afford the endurance of Arctic Air. AA has been extraordinarily frustrating up to now, I've only been activating it when I'd see the dom bar almost full, wait until it almost drained me of end then pop dom. I'll certainly wait until I'm satisfied with basic slotting and get Jack before I condemn Ice/. At least it seems to pair well with /Thorns.
It was a lot of fun last night. The only primary we didn't have on the team was Fire. As long as we stuck together, it was very easy to steamroll over everything.
I thought I was going to lose it in the kill all mission before the last mission. I swear, we had the largest Crey map in history. Torture!
4 bubs from Wormhole!
Team 2 had every primary but ice. von Hirsh was our fire. We picked up a grav when Scarlet Infusion logged onto HTTT2 and was nice enough to mal down to join us. That brought us to 6.
We finished our SF in about 2.5 hrs. The Freakshow mission was probably the worst from a death standpoint. Those ambushes came out of nowhere, kept coming, were huge, and seemed to chase you around the map.
How long did it take Team 1? And whatever happened to Lady Hellfrost? That's Jayboh's dom isn't it? Did you guys run yours with just 5 doms?
Anyway, I like that SF. It's got a good range of foes and different obstacles to overcome. It also helps it pays like 35 merits. We should run it again. I think we can speed it along with some more stealthing. I'd also like to try attacking that raider base from the top instead of hiking all the way up from the bottom. Anyone ever tried that?
Last thing: I did finally manage to get the Strike Breaker mission today. I had to get Wormy out first before Lorenz would give it to me, but he finally did. That badge is needed for Megalomaniac Accolade. So if you want it, I'll have it for Sunday. Problem is only 8 people max, so we'll need someone else to get the mission for team 2.
We seem to be just shy of 2 full teams each outing with some folks coming later and some folks leaving earlier, but maybe the new blood we got yesterday will even things out and make it easier for everyone to get a team as soon as they log.
See you this weekend. I'll be around with Viscountess de Lune to see if she can get Strike Breaker, too.
Please buff Ice Control.
Mmm, sadly our electricity was cut off while I was out getting food, rather tacky of our power company, so I was without any power whatsoever. Meaning I missed out on the SF and whatever else was done. Just got it back on last night so I haven't even had a chance to catch Lady up.
I suppose I could side-kick if you guys got way ahead, just so I can catch up, but if not then that works okay for me. I can always get together a Silver Mantis TF later on sometime, and the badge mishes I might have missed are available in Ouro, so I won't stress over it. Hopefully Sunday should run easier for me.
I was on team one. We moved at a safe, solid, and steady pace. It kind of reminded of being on a all tank team. I was on as "Strawman" my Mind/Thorns Dommie.
Our team makeup was really very good. AoE sleeps plus Seeds of Confusion is just about the safest teaming you can get IMHO. I would recommend blowing up the Sonic Bombs last were we to do that again. I use to run that SF regularly on my VG on Liberty. It's one of my favorites..probably the best written SF villain side. If people want to run it again..I'm up for it.

I didn't realize the bombs triggered those ambushes.
Yeah, I'd like to run it again and be smarter about stealthing certain parts.
I have the Viscountess at 22 and von Ruwen at 25. Either one is ready to go. I'll be online today a bit (Sat). If we can drum up a team, I'd be willing to go for it.
Please buff Ice Control.
Ooops sorry just saw your post DC. I was very much into AE mission creation today. I earned my "Engineer" badge! I log on Sunday afternoon to see if anyone's into running SM again.

I made a new Brimstone Club MArc called 'The Banishing' for lvl 25-30 characters.
It uses in-game characters for inspiration and is really seated in our group's growing storyline.
It's only 3 missions long, but the last mission has an AV (someone you might recognize).
If we get a chance after the badge missions, I'd like to test run it with a large team.

I'd like to add my MA arc to the list since the SF ran long on Thursday. 3 missions long, an EB in the 2nd and an AV in the 3rd.

We played this last night, and man that was some brutal fighting. The mobs had pretty much every power under the sun from mez to debuff to stealth. It was like battling a pack of MMs and Dominators in a PvP zone.
It's definitely not for an average PuG. You might want to put a disclaimer up for that. I can see a lot of people whining about the heavy use of confuse and invis.
I actually enjoyed getting confused because then I could throw thorns at Dr. Wormwood!

Is that why I kept faceplanting?! That MA arc was a kick in the pants. Just hit 26 at the end of it and am looking forward to some CC goodness next time around!

I didn't want to make a steamroll AE arc, but I didn't want to make it super difficult either.
I think if I fix the Mind/MM boss to ONLY show as the boss in the first mission, that should alleviate some of the problems. I never saw that happen in the many trials I ran of my arc, so it was definitely a big help. I'll also update the archery minions' secondary to something a little more workable. I also think the ill/dark bosses may be overpowered (which is probably why the devs never gave it to us), so I may change the secondary on those as well.
I find in general its best to limit the powersets you use in an arc. I know at first it seems like fun to throw in every powerset you can think of..but it can be overkill. Simple is best and more fun for people.

I think Goth/Old English suits the group we've been running just fine!!!
And oooh DC count me in for the SF on Thurs. I'll be there. I may be retiring Lady Cromwell for my Strawman guy. The more I play Lady C, the more I see her as a dark themed dom...and then I get frustrated..lol. I'll hold that name until that's a reality someday.
