More GMs please!

Why not a GM 5th Column MechMan we have to beat up. Maybe give him "weak points" which heroes/villains need to attack to bring him down; rotate the "weak points" so each time he spawns, the fight is a bit different.

Or better yet. How about a GM in Atlas. I know, I know, Atlas is considered a "safe zone" where all the new toons don't have to worry about dieing, but I think that a brand new person to CoH, seeing a GM in Atlas, would have a "holy [censored], this game rocks" moment.

Or better yet. Have a Rularuu the Ravager GM in Shadow Shard. Or maybe combine the 2 ideas and have some Rularuu the Ravager "shadow reflection" appear in Atlas. A GM that doesn't attack, but takes a few full teams to put down.

Or...I think it would be really neat to have to battle the Giant Mech Men from ITF each time the ITF is completed. Make them a bit eaiser to take down b/c States/LR aren't in them.

I think the game needs more GMs, more spawning GMs at TF/SF completion, more rewards for GMs.

I agreed with this idea which is a huge suprise to anyone that knows me since I love GM battles.

COV has always needed a couple more good GMS but I think the small number of zones limited the amount the Devs were willing to add (not wanting a GM in almost every zone)

One idea I had a while back was a Tsoo GM. In most oriental cultures dragons are considered a sign of strength and revered. I sort of figured hero side a good spot for that to spawn would be Talos (IP already has Lusca) and not sure spawning in Steel would be a good idea but possibly. Use the same Tsoo Dragon in COV on ST Martial and both sides get a new GM to battle. Yes I realized that supposedly the game in not geared for anything 4 legged so why not a dragon that walks on two legs and used its front legs to attack?

A like the idea if a Giant Mechman and that could very easily be placed on Striga (hero side). Or since Council exist in the RWZ how about putting it there and give heroes and villains a chance to get it and even team up to do so.

COV have a Circle of Thorn GM in Caleb but getting it to spawn can be such a pain. There is a COT monster in Portal Corp missions.. Baphomet and it does award a badge but it's an AV (even an EB solo on Heroic). How about upgrading him to GM status and having him spawn in Nerve (COV side) and possibly the Hollows (COH side). Hey radio missions kind of killed the interest in the Hollows maybe a GM will bring a few people back if for no other reason than the GM fight.

As for giant mechanical men it has always struck me as odd that Nemesis, being a complete egotist, wouldn't create a HUGE version of a Warhulk if for no other reason than to prove his was better than Malta's Kronos Titan or The Clockwork King's Babbage. This could easily spawn in Eden hero side since Jurrasik already roams Crey's Folly.

A GM in the shard could be fun I like that idea and it might spark some renewed interest there as well... place is sort of dead since the RWZ and Cimerora opened up and most only go there to be tortured by the 4 TFs running out of there.

So anyone else got any deas?

A Longbow Frigate GM in Nerva, it launches (spawns) Chasers and shots at villains with 20mm cannons.

Edit: "Cannons" not "canon", Yes, it shoots the Dev Hero one at us who points out why our characters contradict CoX canon lore and bans them.

I like the idea of the Longbow Frigate and the Council Mega Mech Man.

I was thinking about that huge ocean in Talos Island and I was also thinking how it would be nice to have some sort of sea monster spawn there. (Not another Lusca, though!) Also, maybe the Twilight's Son's TF could be linked to a CoT Demon GM spawn.

to TO THE END!
Villains are those who dedicate their lives to causing mayhem. Villians are people from the planet Villia!

Best. Idea(s). Ever.
A dragon? mawhahaha! I love it. And about the giant Warhulk, scratch that. I think Nemesis is sooo self absorbed, he would build a giant Fake Nemesis in his own honor to, like you said, show how much better/cooler he is. And inside the Giant Fake Nemesis... an army of Fake Nemesis inside! How cool would that be? Take down the egomaniacs destructive idol of himself, only to have it explode into hundreds of Fake Nemesis! It would also make getting that badge easier.

I have always wanted more Carnival of Shadows content, so maybe some CoS GM? Im not sure what, buy maybe some "psychic reflection" mumbo jumbo. Set up the GM spawn kinda like a zone event. A giant psychic reflection of a few CoS villains appear. The heroes/villains can either take down the reflections or hunt for the handful of CoS groups that are creating the psychic reflections...

Lame, I know, but its an idea =P

Maybe even create a new small zone...Giant Monster Island. I know somthing similar exists with the DE, but on Giant Monster Island, you could place ALL of the Game's GMs there, or create new ones. Make some malarky like the monsters have shut down the forcefeild on the island and threaten to swim back to the mainland unless you can put them down. Put on there say, 10 GMs and make it a Co-op zone.

Think Monster Island from Godzilla, but with superpowers.

I still demand a GM that takes changing tactics and cooperation to defeat (and no, I do not mean the Hamidon, or Lusca, whom I still think is pretty simple).

I can dream, right?

Is it bad that I liked the second idea more?

Ah, but why have (hind) legs when they could use a modified skeleton based on that of the Snakes? (just throwing that out there)

I say let the Jade Spider go berserk in St. Martial and have a swarm of LB Ballista attack it Triple Threat Showdown!

How about a Longbow Frigate vs. Arachnos Flier in Nerva, every so often? Kind of like Jack vs. Eochai for villains!

I'm into supporting all kinds of zone events/non-instanced content.

Besides more GMs, I'd like to see soloable giant monsters also spawn in zones. EB class critters that are still pretty big in size. I would dub them Monsters, but we have Monsters and generally they're not soloable either. You could even make a case for scaling back guys like Kracken to this new class of creature.

Just going to throw out some ideas.

-Giant bugs. Swarms of Volkswagen-sized cockroaches, etc.

-A flying fortress for the 5th Column. Like the Arachnos Flier or the SHIELD Carrier.

-The Return of Talos and the Chimera. Somehow revived after all this time, they duke it out in the waters off Talos Island daily for the tourists.

-A flying prehistoric reptile.

-Hyperion Class Malta Titans. Smaller than a Kronos, larger than a Zeus. Moar giant robots. Chicks dig giant robots.
