What they really need to do is to set up a 2nd "global ignore" list for spammers. I've already had to cycle through my /gignore list twice due to those spammers. Problem is, there are people that I have put on my /gignore list for legitimate reasons. However, those e-mail spammers send me so many e-mails that I have two options: 1) Hit "Delete" instead of "Spam" as to prevent my /gignore list from overflowing, or 2) Periodically go through my global ignore list and clean out all of the spam accounts to ensure that the people I *do* want to ignore stay ignored.

About the start of every month I spend 10 mins or so pruning my gignore list.

That is time I'd much rather spend playing the game, so a spammer only gignore list is high on my personal QOL list.

I wish the spam button did more than just ignore them.

Maybe after a global is reported through the button so many times it loses email capability?

Hey, I got a better idea, how about giving us a damn option to turn off all incoming emails for each of our characters. Or better yet, eliminate the use of the email system on trial accounts!

I never use the email system, but yet I'm bothered by it each and every time I log into the game. Whats really funny is there is no limit to emails that I know of when it comes to receiving them, one of my characters has 537 emails currently in his inbox in the game.

But yet, there are limits to everything elsewe do in the game ... go figure

I "Never" get email, except from spammers. If Im off for 2-3 days I can expect 10-12 spam emails, and my ignore/spam list was full along time ago so it just cycles them out.
I still have no clue how they got my global to even send spam?

I want a duel spam button. So when I click to add them to ignore, it sends Chuck Norris to their house to make them cry and drink spoiled milk from his cowboy boots.
Which I might add are made from real cowboys....
Maybe he needs some spammer boots......

While not 100% effective, hiding from search (not global, just regular game search) has resulted in maybe 1 email a month for me on most of my characters (there is one character that constantly recieves them even though I hardly ever log in.....he's obviously stuck in some spam list from hell). And unless I'm just lucky, even new characters created get by without being blemished.

IMO no real point to the email system since Global chat, and even less so with the use of the "notes" for characters, at least with the way I use the game.
