Info Question
What sort of characters do you tend to like in That Other Game? And were you thinking more of heroes or villains?
Tell us what you like to do, and we'll tell you what you might like to play.
As mentioned, anything can solo. Heroic/Villainous (the starting difficulty level) is designed so even the most solo-unfriendly characters (empathy/elec defenders, or earth/force field controllers, or whatever) can still beat three white-con minions at a time. Yes, there are people who can solo four purple-con bosses at a time, but those are "good soloers".
Mini-guides: Force Field Defenders, Blasters, Market Self-Defense, Frankenslotting.
So you think you're a hero, huh.
@Boltcutter in game.
my favorite class in wow would ahve to b my rogue, then my healing shammy. I want to deal out a crap load of dmg in a short amount of time, melee or not, i like to b able to take out more then one target at a time, make stuff go faster. as i get closer to lvl 50 i want to group more, like b a High DPS class in groups
oh and i was leaning towards the villain side...but ive havn't try heroes yet so i dnt kno their classes, so faction wise, im not going to b picky, i just wnat to b a High DPSer

(The most powerful teams in the game are either all-defender or all-controller. They're also a LOT more powerful than the game actually requires.)
[/ QUOTE ]
Not quite accurate. A team of all Corruptors is much more powerful than either of those and they kill faster to boot.
Welcome to the game, Ammune!

thanx and my game just arrived in the mail YAY no more trial BS lol....but i still dnt kno wat class i want to lvl up first...ive tryed a lot of them but i still dnt kno which one will suit me best...hmmm
Since you said you're leaning toward villains, I'm leaving out hero comments.
If you like rogues, you might try stalkers (they get an invisibility toggle)...or a brute with Energy Aura (they get a stealth toggle). They both focus almost exclusively on beating the snot out of things (stalkers are more fragile than brutes, and require a little more finesse - brutes are just smashsmashsmash).
If you like healing shammies, you might try corruptors...alternately, for a pet-summon class with support sets, you could do a mastermind. Mastermind pets are a lot more involved than huntards, but the end result (IMO) is so much more fun.
(Please note that there are no "healers" in City. Support is much more about buffs and debuffs than the floaty green numbers.)

ya i was reading on the wiki sight about like like 10 min before u posted...but ty for the info and these veteran rewards...it says u have to to b active on a acct for 60 months, "time played, not paid(makes sense lol)" to teleport?

Actually the regular teleport power can be accessed by any character at lv 14. See paragon wiki for the details on how the momvement powers work.
There are some special teleport powers available to long time players. I think that is what you saw on wiki.
Also, welcome aboard.

wat villain casting class does HIGH AoE dmg, like i can take out like 3 guys at once? or dmg a large group of enemies when on a mission with my group...etc.
Corrupters have good ranged damage in their primary set, often with AOEs and team support/buff/heal in the secondary power set.
Brutes and Stalkers both do good damage, although it is melee, and tends to be more single-target.
Masterminds can do good AOE damage, argueabley, because their pets can be directed to attack specific targets, or just blast away at any nearby enemy.
I don't know dominators that well.
Try 'em all!
Seriously, don't agonize too much about making a character. You don't have to pick a "main" and level them to the cap.
Pick an archetype that seems interesting, pick powersets that seem interesting, make a cool costume, then onward to Evil!
Perhaps another idea will spark in your twisted mind, and you'll make another. It's totally ok. I've got DOZENS of characters spread around the servers, and less than 5% are over level 40.
www.paragonwiki.com is a great source of information for this game.

I have just over 60, and only 1 is over level 40. My lone level 50. I have finally managed to get a couple of the others into the 30s though.

Dark Armor also has a stealth toggle.

wat about a dark/dark corruptor is that a good group combo?
-To Hit (which is like +Def) - it's more controller-y, has an AoE stun that doubles as an AoE rez (Dark is the ONLY powerset able to rez multiple fallen Comrades/friends/minions/peons in a single click!), Darkest Night is awesome, Tar patch is an excellent -Run and -DAMRES(ALL) power, and Twilight Grasp does nice debuffs and unlike the kinetic heal works even on a npc that is dying.
EDIT : So yes, it works fine. For more solo ability, you MIGHT want to do Fire/ or Ice/ for your blast set though.

thank you now is there a guide to auras too??
Not as complete.
ParagonWiki: Auras
Not sure if these still work. It requires DivX or Xvid codec to play and these are just the original auras in the game.

Just wanted to comment on this.
A defender with no attacks but the default one and their mouse hand in a cast should be able to take out three even level minions.
Every AT should be able to take out a half dozen enemies solo by the time they reach 50.
Farming builds - typically scrappers, brutes, tanks, dominators or blasters, but potentially any AT - are known for mowing down groups of 10-20 minions and lieutenants in seconds, without breaking a sweat.
Other players focus on fighting Archvillains (think Elite Bosses from WoW), and while they tend to kill large groups a bit slower, they can take out enemies balanced for an 8-man team, while solo.
Groups of a size that would make a WoW player turn around and walk away to avoid repairs, make us scoff and drag the group to the next spawn point, so that there's actually a challenge.
@Roderick
Do you mean server info as in PvP, normal and RP servers as in WoW?
In this game all the servers are the same, PvP are located in certain zones and RPers are on all servers but Virtue has the highest number of them.
For more info on the servers in general, ParagonWiki: Servers.
