My game room.

One. This is the desk I have right now. I have a new computer that is too large to fit into the desk, so it sits next to my monitor, which makes things a little cramped. I have plans to build a new desk which will look like this when it's done, hopefully this summer. I'll be able to move the metal filing cabinet elsewhere then. In the lower left you can just see a bookcase with a bunch of 2nd edition D&D materials.

Two. A pile of old computer parts that no longer exists, plus a piece of art I've yet to mount of an old D&D character.

Three. The gaming table and chairs, plus a couple of bookshelves that have tons of paperback novels and various RPG books, most of them 3.5 D&D. To the right is an old pic of an even older Jarlaxle-clone D&D character.

Here's my usual setup. The portrait mode on my screen took some getting used to, but now it feels natural. The orientation depends on what I am working on. If I am painting a standing human figure for example, it is more intuitive to have the screen upright. I also like it for multitasking because I can have two full-width windows.

O_O ...I WONDER...

I am getting my new computer sometime in the next few days (it shipped today WEEEEEEEEEEEEE), which means I'll be setting up my 28" monitor. I wonder if it does the whole turn-sideways thing... BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE AWESOME *goes to poke at the paperwork*

Here's mine! I'm still using my drawing desk for my main PC Rig: 2.2 GHz Dual CPU with 3 GB, an ATI Radeon 3650 with 1 GB, 2 500 GB HDs, and a Blue Ray/DvD RW Drive.

On the drawing desk are twin 20" monitors, keyboard, and Intuos3 tablet. I added a conductors table for my MacBook: 2.1 GHz Core 2 Duo with 2 GB ram, DvD RW, and 100 GB HD, and its own Bamboo Fun Tablet. On my headboard is my Cannon MX310 all in one (Color FAX, Scanner, Photocopier, and Printer), which I got for a whopping $9.00 new!

Oh, the framed poster on the wall is of my CoH Main that I drew and had glossy printed.

current setup - literally. You might notice a familiar thread on the monitor. ...

[/ QUOTE ]The quote contains my old setup. I got my new computer a bit over a week ago. I got my new monitor's connection cable a few days ago. Tonight, I swapped out PSUs because I was having issues with my computer randomly restarting. (Details in Tech Issues forum, for those curious. It's boring and techy.)

Here is my new setup. I had to change my pants the first time I used that monitor... *fans herself*
