1 end per 10 badges
I cannot put into words the mayhem that would ensue if such a thing were implemented.

All it would do is let you fight longer and be less suceptible to drain...wow! that's overpower! not...fun enhancer it would be.
very few badges worth getting, it would give a purpose to them.
.... No, it would *completely imbalance fighting*.
*edit*
Let me just say that perhaps 1 end per 100 badges might be fun and reasonable.
But the fact is, every time I create a new character I get the 2nd "collect the badges" achievement badge. That's 25 badges *on a completely new character*.
With your system, I'd get 2 points of end right there. While I'd say YAY! ... it really doesn't work the way you'd like it to.

Well, there are at least 500 stupid badges out there and I'm generous, they're making badges for everything. Cut them to 200 and that would be fine that would make them think twice about putting yet another pathetic badge!
Endurence management and the way they implemented IO set bonuses are probably the 2 biggest anti-fun features in the game. that would fix one

Because it's giving Badgers the distinct advantage over non-Badgers, you'd be dictating playstyles even further.
This WOULD be unbalancing. It would give people as much as DOUBLE the endurance of a normal hero. That's absurd.

No. Oh dear lord, so much no.
Edit:
Next time you're looking to act stupid, please check out Paragonwiki to answer your questions. I've linked you to the badges. And as a simple FYI? There are over 600.
So, I - who have been around several years, and have some badges that are unobtainable any more such as the 1st anniversary of COH, of COV, second, third, fourth, and now fifth, not to mention some paid-for badges, would have a *decided in game advantage* over someone just starting - one they could never catch up with.
I would also, by default, JUST BY CREATING A NEW CHARACTER, have a decided in-game advantage for doing... nothing.
No.
If you think badges are worthless, don't collect them. It doesn't hurt you any to ignore them. I don't care about most of them, and like it that way.
This suggestion is almost "eliminate endurance".

Weighin' in with Bill on this one.
I don't monitor my End at all on my Kat/WP scrapper because my recovery is already absurd (3.7 end/s, with 115 endurance). The base recovery is only 1.67. With ~200 Endurance, I'd be getting back 4end/s... more then enough to never have to worry about End ever again, on any character I'd create.
Balance would be horrific with this change.
I would say, since you've got this idea in your head that endurance is an issue:
Take Stamina. Learn to slot endurance reduction SOs or IOs.
Problem solved.

I always love these double-whammy suggestions to give "worthless" badges a purpose (beacuse we all know collecting badges is mostly pointless) by making them the method to totally break the power/END structure of the game.
This suggestion is one of the most outrageously unbalanced and shortsighted ones I've ever seen.
Congratulations.

Terrible suggestion. I can't decide if this is a thinly veiled attack on the badging mini-game or if the OP really thinks that badges 'need' a 'point'. They don't, plenty of people love collecting badges as-is and there's no need to change that mini-game just because the OP doesn't enjoy it.
Either way, a huge no to this terrible and extremely unbalancing suggestion. I'd suggest the OP look into how recovery works and realize how incredibly powerful this would be if implemented. /unsigned

While I agree with the majority of the posts (I think all of them at this point)...1 end per 10 badges, is just stupid.
However, I did like the suggestion of 1 end per 100 badges.
Mind you, I have no idea how many badges total there are in game. But assuming 900 possible from a character created in i1 (or whenever badges were introduced...I came in at the beginning of i3), that's only 9 END. Doesn't seem to unreasonable.
But that said, I could live without it as well.

At 1 / 100, it would give vets a bit of a boost when they create a new character, but it would level out as badge-hunters outnumber them. Individually, I don't think it'd be bad to have a 1/100 type bonus of *some kind*, but still, it's giving certain players a much stronger advantage against those who aren't of the badge-hunting bent or are new to the game.
It wouldn't take much for a 2 month-playing badge hunter to way, way over take ANY of my existing characters, as I just don't concentrate on getting badges with them. I think the most I even have is like 300ish, and I've only got the Atlas medallion on that one toon out of ... loads.

/unsigned. This is one of the most terrible ideas I've ever heard.
I'm surprised that nobody's pointed out the over 100 badge disparity between the sides. If this suggestion were implemented, heroes could get as many as 10 or more more End than villains ever could.
@Roderick
I'd like to see more accolades that give some kind of bonus... not necessarily endurance, though.

This was actually a serious suggestion?
Hell, if that's the case let's just make it 10 endurance for every badge you get and completely break the power/endurance ratio. That'd be what, over 6100 endurance if you collected them all?
Tell you what else we can do, we can change Foot Stomp into a power that will one-shot GMs and kill everything in the game at once, on both sides. Oh, I know! Give level 1 characters the ability to one-shot a level 1 minion and instantly get to level 50!
Let's raise the level cap to 10,000! And get there with one attack!
Do I need to illustrate any further how dumb I think this idea is?

For refrance, according to City info Tracker there are 762 hero and 687 villain badges currently (I think its around 80 being dropped in i15).

You say that like it's a bad thing...
Alright, alright I suppose I'll have to agree that's a bad thing.
Anyway in all seriousness you're absolutely right. Until the two sides have an equal number of potential badges any suggestion for "get X based on how many badges you have" is automatically unfair and unjustified on that basis alone.

You could base it on a percentage of total badges, I guess... if one were so inclined.
That being said I'm not sure this is a great idea. I'd be okay with +1 endurance for every 10% of total badges available collected, that way the max anyone could get is +10, and villains wouldn't get screwed because even though they have fewer badges than heroes, they still have "100%" of their own badges to get.
