I sometimes don't but somedays I just have much to do and I toss it in there, but I bake it in the oven usually cause the bread machine makes it go all funny and its hard to cut cause of the shape lol.

new food diary up in teh blog!

The oven method is too dangerous because it has to be left partially open so the moisture can escape, I have a 2yo who just can't be kept in his room for the full 6hrs it takes to dry the meat.

Just posted on Freecycle asking if there were any out there lol. Worth a shot, there will be a few offers from me in the next little bit as I sort through clothes that are too small for the kiddos and maternity clothes for me.

There we go, new food diary up in my blog!

Today will be BAD DAY though. I think I'll have a tuna salad sammich with cilantro mayo for lunch, then we go out for supper. My personal challenge, I'll get the salad instead of the fries! *or at least onion rings...if we go to Wendys it'll be the baked potato with just some cheddar and broccoli topping*

Every now and then you have to cheat just a bit. It keeps you sane and it helps keeps the cravings more under control. As long as you keep to your program the rest of the time, you're good.

Noire, one of my friends lost nearly 100lbs in a year. What he did was cut way back on portion size, cut out all grease and start working out army hardcore. But his trick to keep from relapsing is every two weeks, he got to eat whatever he wanted for supper. That way if he felt tempted, he'd just tell himself "In X days, I CAN eat that!". And usually after X days, he'd have forgotten about it.

Now I realize you're on a completely different diet, but my point is, you gotta factor in temptation and build a way to negate it. It helps turn a diet into a lifestyle change you can stick to forever. You've been doing really good already (I only lasted about 10 weeks on South Beach, me lurvs meh sgettis) so keep it up!

I DID IT! I got the spicy Thai salad at McDonalds with a warm grilled chicken breast, and only used half the dressing packet.

Ya I quit smoking 9 years ago, I hate the smell of smoke now it makes me gag, Hubby quit smoking too been down to 4 peices of the nicotine gum a day which is awesome

Just the first couple years after I quit it was chips and other junk food to control the cravings and boom 100lbs later... then I just had no energy to take it off, mainly cause my ex bf at the time too I was with was a lazy _______! and didn't wanna go out or do anything and everytime I did Id walk walk walk but it wouldn't do anything for me cause i was still eating fast food and junk food, I realize that now that i look back

I just hate getting stuck on plateau's every week like another now which is annoying! My doc said my weight loss would slow down and I hate it but i noticed my arms been getting bigger and less jiggy lol. I been doing Bob Harper's Bootcamp it's alot of toning with weights and bursts of cardio and omg burning and dripping lol.

I think my muscle mass might be going up and fat going down, Ill have to see what the doc says when I go see her next. I know it was last time but maybe more this time I can hope!

Thanks for all the support and tips

woohoo nice one mrs A!
keep up the good work with you too!
If I am not mistaken I think for every 3500 cals burned = 1lb
I wish I knew how many cals I was burning on these dvds it would help so much!

Posted

I know I'm burning approx 700-900cals per pool work out maybe even more. Not joking.
