BIGGEST LOSER - GUARDIAN *Sticky Please*
New food diary up! (trust me Noire, when you have kids you'll understand that it's more of a hassle to NOT eat when they're not allowed than to put up with the constant grabbing of food off your plate when they're hungry. Poor lil dude was starving and it wouldn't have been nice to taunt him with foods yesterday...he was miserable enough as it is)

Yeah true Mrs A, hmm still waiting on Bob's challenge
Week from hell over, did my workout this morning and kicked it up into high gear! Did the biggest loser bootcamp on the second level and let me tell you .......... O .... M ........ F...... G!!!!!!! LOL *falls over*
It was awesome though !!
I was gonna do a 2.5 mile walk/jog to get my hair cut but these dang thunderstorm watches/warnings are back up again! As long as they don't go into tornado ones again I will be okay, hope i can do the haircut/walk tomorrow!
http://www.recipezaar.com/Cauliflower-Latkes-14751 Gonna try those, but baked instead of fried...and only one so like gonna half the recipe, with my Turkey Roll ups at lunch
I switched it up a bit though, baked em instead of fried, used some savory, parsley, garlic and onion powders for the seasonings, and whole wheat soda cracker crumbs instead of the Matzo meal.

Tuna from a can and crab in my baked crab rangoon is the only sea food ill touch, hubby keeps getting on me to eat more of it cause when i get prego it helps with babys brain development, ive already been prepping my body for when its time, they say a year or so before you plan on getting prego to take Folic Acid at least 400mcgs a day which I already do with my one a day women's vitiman.
Used to love shrimp until I had to clean it for a week at a high classy restraunt I worked at when I was 18 for like a week... yeah I didn't know the part of the shrimp we eat was its ........ ewwwww !!! Backend! >_< So since then I have not touched shrimp, I was surprised I ate the crab in the rangoon I made cause in the restraunts you can't taste it cause there is like none in there lol the one i made wasn't even fishy you couldn't really tell.
Anyways I been working out and running around doing housework, I hear my shower calling
Well you need to move to the West or East coasts then. I would NOT touch any seafood that far away from the coasts. At all..Ever. I'm a seafood snob. I spent my teen years in a fishing village, Nothing and I mean NOTHING tastes better than Fresh from the trap lobster, or fresh off the line Pollock. nothing. Here, Fresh from the boat salmon, flounder, shrimp...I love it, sad I can only eat Seafood when Alpha is gone because he can't abide by it in the house *allergies and just the smell sets him off*
When you live near the coasts your whole life, You get really really spoiled when it comes to fresh and wonderful seafood.
I will never eat farmed salmon. First off; Salmon farming is one of the big causes of overfishing ironically. See, They fish for fish to make the feed, and they feed the salmon LOTS of feed to get them to grow fast. Their meat is less healthy than the wild caught stuff, due to the amounts of fats, and it's not the healthy kind either. Farmed salmon has been shown to half almost as much cholesterol as a steak at times! *shudder*
Give me wild fish thanks. Farmed fish are nasty. Heck I prefer wild meat over domestic any day as well. When we move out east I'm gonna apply for the Moose draw and deer tags and get Dad to go hunt for us. Game birds are WAY better too.
I miss my venison..*sigh*

My dad is a hunter we ate alot of moose, deer, rabbit and other meats growing up YUM!
We lived by lake huron and lake erie too, I used to love fish til we went fishing one day and my aunt's dad didn't clean the fish right and I spent most of my dinner fishing though the bones. It totally sucked, i was 14 at the time. I never had fish that bad before.
Best thing about KC is its all about BBQ here!
Steaks, Pork, Beef cuts, chicken, you name it YUM!
Plus alot the the stores around here get fresh fish in from what I have seen.
Now I want some BBQ

I hate freshwater fish. I always have. They are WAY too difficult to de-bone properly.

we don't drink soda in this house very often. If it is consumed it's Jones' pure cane sugar stuff. I know bad, but it's not that HFCS stuff.
lol The "Jog" thing won't happen unless you count my "20k" workout in the pool. I jog the equivilant of 20 kilometers in the pool or so each night....along with the resistance/strength excersises I do in between laps.
