Need assistance finding music
Getting married?
I've already forgotten about most of you
No, but I definitely associate the wedding march with the end of the world...

Steve Earle - Ashes to Ashes
Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter
Nina Simone - Sinnerman
Siouxsie and the Banshees - Cities in Dust
The Carter Family - God Gave Noah the Rainbow Sign
<《 New Colchis / Guides / Mission Architect 》>
"At what point do we say, 'You're mucking with our myths'?" - Harlan Ellison
Serious JuJu - Sammy Hagar (not in the traditional sense....but the song is great )
I've already forgotten about most of you
Zager and Evans - In the year 2525
Probably not the heavy dose of 'doom' you may be looking for, bud I think it could be considered a 'light doom'. YMMV

-Goal for 2011: Survive, stay alive, and continue to thrive.
I'd associate dark, brooding songs with the apocalypse so here's a few:
E Nomine - Das Omen
Lita Ford & Ozzy Osbourne - Close my Eyes Forever
AC/DC - Hell's Bells
Rolling Stones - Paint it Black
U2 - Exit
Kansas isn't so dark but these two songs seems appropriate:
Dust in the Wind
Carry on Wayward Son
It is better to ask forgiveness than permission.
Toril... do you care how fast paced or slow this song is? Just because there are a good amount of "bleak" songs that are slow-paced and fast-paced.
I'll second U2's "Exit," and also offer Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven. I'm thinking Zeppelin has some other ones that might work, but I don't have my iPod handy to doublecheck.
Guide: Tanking, Wall of Fire Style (Updated for I19!), and the Four Rules of Tanking
Story Arc: Belated Justice, #88003
Synopsis: Explore the fine line between justice and vengeance as you help a hero of Talos Island bring his friend's murderer to justice.
Grey Pilgrim: Fire/Fire Tanker (50), Victory
Most of these don't deal with the biblical apocalypse in particular, but they do have an end of the world kinda theme:
Nine Inch Nails - Zero Sum
Switchblade Symphony - Rampid
Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun
Alabama 3 - Gospel Train
Rasputina - Doomsday Averted (though maybes the "averted" part is contrary to what you're after)
Also, while I can't speak to how appropriate each entry is (and it's nowhere near exhaustive), wikipedia has a list.
Looking for a variety GP. Fast, slow, no specific genre. Folk music will even work in some places for what I am doing. I just need some transition between it and the other music.

Santa Monica - Everclear
(this music thread >>>>>>>>>>> Mental's)
I've already forgotten about most of you
BONUS!
Burning down the house - Jimi Hendrix (again, not in the traditional sense. More in theme and in terms of social interaction.......and still a great song.)
I've already forgotten about most of you
Course of Nature - "World at War"
Less Than Jake - "Does the Lion City Still Roar?" - skewed enough to sound apocolyptic
Switchfoot - "The Blues"
edit: also Less Than Jake - "A Still Life Franchise"
Also, not too terribly apocolyptic, but it kinda gives the impression: Streetlight Manifesto - "Everything Went Numb"
Lets all just listen to Iron & Wine. Its so much nicer.
Cat Bot v 1.36 : NRG/elec Blaster : Level 50
"I thought so." - Hank_Rearden
I made a playlist for my iPod recently on this theme (and I'll have to borrow more ideas from this thread). This is sort of a working list for me anyway, I may decide that not all of these song fit, and a couple of the songs I have are obscure and you probably wouldn't be able to find them, but for what it's worth, I currently have the following:
American Pie -- Don Maclean
Gasoline -- Sheryl Crow
Minutes to Midnight -- Midnight Oil
Seconds -- U2
Red Alert -- Malcolm and the Mirrors
The Big Guns -- Swirling Eddies
It's the End of the World As We Know It -- REM
Eve of Destruction -- Barry MacGuire
Dust in the Wind -- Kansas
Preaching the End of the World -- Chris Cornell
Jubilee -- Alison Krauss
also possibly Earth Crisis by Steel Pulse?
There are probably a lot of good apocalyptic reggae songs actually.
my lil RWZ Challenge vid
War Pigs - Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne/Faith No More
