A Serious Open Letter To Arcanaville

Eh, there's not gonna be much. Mostly people who posted in this thread and kind of looked creepy responding to my criticism in an unintelligent manner before another "tee hee, I'm a girl" post makes everyone forget about mine.

I'm rather disappointed Arcanaville didn't respond to the put-forth offer of getting coffee, but eh. I'll get over it.

Other then recent events, it's been a pretty amusing, light-hearted thread (Or that's the impression I got - I may just not be taking things OMGSRSLY enough), so I don't see any point in not furthering any of the hundreds of interesting and faskinating derails.

Then again, I do love a good tangent. ;3

You sound sad. Have a lolcat.

*Waits for thread's ridiculousness to hit critical mass*

For what it's worth, I like 'er.

/this.

And not because of anything she's said in the thread. Overall attitude and longer discussions about various subjects, including "what-if" history (and not just related to her steampunk project... in fact, not at all, come to think of it,) culture, quite a range of subjects that she's got a good grasp of to be honest.

You, Razoras, came in apparently JUST to attack her. I don't recall seeing you elsewhere in a fun thread. If you have a problem with her... don't wander in just to post about her.

Hmm, really?

[ QUOTE ]

So Steampunkette is the new Miss Kitty except maybe even worse.

We've got a good checklist going already. Narcissism, stereotypical sexual escapes with other females in high school that she likes to bring up, near-constant references to her "d20s," cute girl avatar, signs her posts, abusive relationship, emoticon use that comes close to ludicrous (squirrel gets a pass) , constant references to her looks while coyly refusing to put up or shut up...

[/ QUOTE ]

Named in the very first line, reference in your third section (as she mentioned specifically high school,) D20 reference is her, signs post... yep...

Go ahead, pull the other one. Or are you just trying to lie to yourself?

Better yet, if you have a problem with the thread, *don't post in it.* If you have a problem with her, ignore her.

See, the problem with lolcats is that only 5% or so are actually funny. The rest are just eye candy for cat lovers, who'd laugh if you showed them a cat photoshop'ed in front of the Holocaust Memorial with any random caption at all.

[/ QUOTE ]Why should I? It is because I care about this upstanding community that I am taking the effort to steer us back to the important things in life and away from the debauchery and witchcraft of worldly issues.

In a thread full of astronomy, redheads, experimental lesbians, Danica McKellar, Lord Byron, Quantum Leap, LISAR's breasts, Helen of Troy, and my role in the end game? That would be like claiming to have the best bunk in all of Arkham Asylum.

OK, you get a point. It wasn't just to put down the squeezable Rachel, but to tell us all we're pathetic as well Oh, she has posted her pic on these boards before, and got heckled mercilessly by the PvP crowd after having a difference of opinion. Sad, really. She is my type of gal and it's good to hear that she's met herself a MAY-uhn

This thread was just a way to blow off some steam and have a few giggles. It's not an "OMG! THESPIANS!" thread. There's been nothing seriously creepy at all, which says good things about this community

until you decided to nominate yourself for the "Wet Blanket of Q2 2009" award.

Feel free to nominate yourself for the Q3 award later!

[/ QUOTE ]It would be very challenging, yes, but there haven't been enough posts about obese men with their own D20s, have there? I think I've got a chance.

A-hem. Where were we? I seem to recall a picture of Arcana's great tracts of land somewhere in the mix.

Reputed tracts. I distinctly recall not seeing anything to verify with scientific certainty the presence or lack thereof.
