Hm, I assumed it was similar to SG demotion, in that it was ongoing. IE, if it's set to 60 days, any time someone hasn't logged in for 60 days, they are removed from the channel. But now that I reread it, the wording is rather ambiguous as to whether it's ongoing, or more of a "per-use" basis.

I'm also using the CoolerMaster 690. Elegant looks, lots of space, plenty of cooling options. They've also recently released a new version:

Far as I can tell the differences are an extra hard drive bay and the interior is painted black. -

'Bout $100 more than the one you were looking at, which is what you'd spend on a graphics card anywho. It has a 9800GT card, which is what Posi recommended for minimum Ultra Mode specs (compared to my previous posts, which would land you in the middle of Ultra Mode territory). It also has a 700W PSU with 2x6-pin PCI connectors, so you could upgrade the graphics card to something beefier down the line if you wanted.

Between the crappy integrated graphics and the 300W power supply, that would probably make a poor gaming rig. If you don't want to build something yourself, try something like this:

I absolutely love my SD/WM Tanker. He's one of the most powerful feeling characters I have. The amount of punishment he can take and deliver is astonishing, and I get no small amount of joy from the sound effects of the sets. Thanks to a moderate investment in IO's and accolades, he currently:
Is softcapped to all positions (40% to psi);
Has roughly 1000 more HP than a normal lvl50 (with about 250% regen);
Has 116 endurance with 160% recovery;
And 45-50% resistance to everything but psi (without OwtS up).
Only has about 25% recharge bonus though, due to my focus on high survivability.
And did I mention he hits like a Mack truck? xD -

I would seriously doubt there's been any direct coding to support these things. However, since it appears (from my quick look at the website) to be mostly driven from the "3d drivers" and hardware - and not specifically from the game software, it might work....

Frankly though, do you really want to spend 200 bucks (or more if you don't have one of the "3d ready display monitors") for [what is most likely] a rather lame 3d effect?
I don't know, maybe they are the coolest things ever. I'd have to see them operating in real life personally before I'd believe it though. To me they just look like a migraine waiting to happen. -

Okay its got a silly strong disorient attached to it, but unlike other self-rez powers, you need something to hit to activiate, and even then, the hp restored is based on the targets hit. By far the worst of the self-rez powers, and really just a sad tier 9 power in general.
Strangely enough, I've also used it to save from a team wipe when we were way in over our heads. Drop toggles, pop Soul Transfer, the team gets 8-12 seconds to regroup or retreat. Hasn't happened often, but when it does, dang it's nice. -
I'm all for changing it. Like others have said, not a big fan of how every person in Granite looks the same. Of course, if there was a way to choose whether to use the overlay or the model-swapping, that'd be ideal, but no idea how much extra work that'd be.

There mandatory picks for a reason. I'd imagain it works towards game balance. I'd like to skip some of the sucky tier one secondary powers too, but i'm not sure the dev's want to let us off the hook that easily. And before you ask, i don't know why they designed it this way, and i don't know what changing it would brake, if it'd brake anything at all.
I'd be on board if they changed it. But i doubt they will. It's a core game mechanic, being around and constent since live. Like i said, it prolly has something to do with game balance, and the dev' would need more of a reason to change it then "we don't like it this way." Lots of people haven't liked it for years, and it's still working the way it was designed. -

At this phase in the game, it's pointless. You'd have to have earned respec, meaning you'd be at the least lvl 24 IIRC. Now a days, you get 5 lvls of powers over and above whatever lvl you RSK too... so even if you rsk down to 1 you'd have access to your very first power pool pick anyways. So in effect, if you train a power pool at 0 or lvl 6, you'll have access to it when you rsk now a days. Meaning, it's a pointless change. If your not planing on RSKing down to lvl 1, it's even MORE pointless as the same power pool rules will apply, meaning you don't benefit AT ALL in ANY WAY from training them eairly. So why bother?

Its the theme and the feel of the power. Yes its more powerful than sprint, you paid for it. But it feels more combat-ready, not travel-esque.
On the whole, I love Ninja Run in so many ways. That power alone made the purchase worth it to me. -

Yeah, I powered through the Tina, Maria, and Unai arcs the other day on my tanker. There were a few points where I grumbled to myself, "Yar, this is why people sit in MA all day." Overall I like those arcs, but there are a few parts that are all kinds of annoying.
