Hmm what to buy . . . .
There are many choices, but here's my personal favorite...
Antec Nine Hundred / Two
and if that's not enough room for you...
Antec Twelve Hundred
Built for gaming and cooling in mind, and look nice too. They even come with a nice pricetag.
I went with a ABS Canon 695, which is basically just a re-branded Lian Li case. It's massive, plenty of space for cooling and basically anything you'd want to stick in there, but, it's an enthusiast case for sure, so you'd need to spend a little over double what you're looking to.

I've had two computer with the Antec Nine-Hundred case. Not too pricey, enough room for my stuff, and lotsa case fans with 3 speed switches, with place to put more fans.

It doesn't scream "gamer case," but it's roomy, it's easy to work around in (the motherboard attaches to a tray that slides out the back for easy access!), and it keeps things extremely cool with 4 case fans, one of which is specifically designed to increase air flow around your hard drive(s).

Well, my current case is a Coolermaster 690. Plenty of room, to me, lots of cooling, pretty well laid out and very nice to work in.
Currently housing an i7-860 and Radeon HD 5770.
I've got a Coolermaster Sileo 500. It works pretty well, my only complaint is that the "tool less" installation system isn't that great. It's got little plastic clips to hold the expansion cards in place but in my experience they don't work very well. I ended up using some self-tapping computer case screws to hold everything securely in place. Other than that it's a nice case.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.
Just the $1200, the $600 uses an Antec that comes with one of their EarthWatts 80 Plus PSUs.
And frankly neither are good for a extra large video card like the HD 5970. Even the HD 5870 may be a little tight (max card length 304mm - 11.96 inches) for the CM 690 II Advanced.

Coolermaster HAF932. More space than most apartments in midtown. Great ventilation. Not over-bearing in its aesthetics.
I just built using this, and once everything was bolted down the case looked up and said "Is it in yet?"
Srsly. Good buy.
Tossing up between the Coolermaster series and the Antec so far, the internals of the machine are fully updated, might pop in a new motherboard at some point and go for a higher end power unit but with the new gfx card and such I wanted to just get a better housing unit for the whole lot.
Much appreciated for the advice by the way, much better to get genuine reviews from you folks than some slick-rick salesman trying to fob me the latest tat at a stupid price.

I'm also using the CoolerMaster 690. Elegant looks, lots of space, plenty of cooling options. They've also recently released a new version:
Cooler Master CM690II
Far as I can tell the differences are an extra hard drive bay and the interior is painted black.

Brimstone Bruce (lvl50 Stone/Fire Tanker) Broadside Bruce (lvl50 Shield/WM Tanker)
Ultionis (lvl50 Dark/Dark Defender) Cortex Crusher (lvl50 Mind/Kin Controller)
Patronox (lvl50 Kat/Dark Scrapper) Harbinger Mk.7 (lvl50 Bots/FF MM)
NightShift for Life.
The CM 690 II has more routing holes for cable management, uses a larger front fan and swapped out the side fan for a larger top one, uses the hard drive mounting system from their HAF series, is bit larger and moved the top connectors to the top front edge.
It's definitely not just a paint job, lots of little QoL changes.

Using a 690 myself. After several years of cursing myself with Antec Sonata cases, this one was a welcome relief. Lots of space, and put together quite nicely.

The PCIe clip, for the I/O shield, on the other hand could be better. It doesn't -quite- fit the 5770.
Attention to all you tech heads out there, im in a quandry and in need of some sage advice.
Comp I have running atm is a Dual core Intel, 600w power unit, Nvidia GTX 285 (lurve it)
with 4g RAM
OS is Windows 7 64bit
Not able to print full comp details as currently at work but the question is this. Looking for a good gamer case for the whole lot with room to add in more as time goes on, current case is ok but space is rather cramped - especially for the power unit and my baby that is the GTX.
Happy to spend up to £150 for the case and any additional components, any suggestions?
Cheers in advance, @Stryke - EU
