Don't worry C.B. I'm sure one of them will hook you up with their grand daughter.

Maybe I should stop being nice to them in the store.

"Sunny, could you reach the bags of saurkraut for me?"

"[censored] off gramma."

"Oh. You're not as handsome as I thought..."

Boo yah.

My target demographic for women seems to be in the 30-50 age range. They come up to me in the food store and tell me I need to eat more.

I tend to attract younger women for some reason. My wife is 19.

When I was in my teens, I attracted older women. I guess I looked older or something..

When I was in HS I tended to draw the Freshmen girls. Not just when I was a Freshman, but throughout my entire stay. :/

Feh. At least you attracted women. I was never anything more than friend material in high school.

Goodbye, I guess.

They usually just want me to eat more. I've got a metabolism most people would die for; eat what I like, and still weigh in at 140 lbs at 6'4". Downside is the fact it's nearly impossible for me to put on muscle or weight of any kind.

And jumping in late to the hair discussion, I'm in that awkward stage where I'm growing my hair long again (damn law enforcement haircuts), and it's too long to be tidy with just combing, and too short for a ponytail of any dignity. Any suggestions?

Part it to one side. That worked for me when I had long-ish hair. Of course, mine's thick as hell, so YMMV.

Ya know, this is what I thought too. Apparently that wasn't the case, it was me being oblivious. Not sure I'm any better off knowing the truth though.

First of all - I hate you and your darn freakish metabolism!

To answer the question (I am assuming you are male) - as they say on all those TLC makeover shows - use "products" (styling gels & such).

We femailes have it a bit easier as hair grows out - there are lots of cute little clippy things and headbands and such to help, although there is definitely an awkward stage in growing out your hair. That's why I haven't cut mine shorter than a couple inches below my shoulders for 10 years or so.

Strangely, I'm too much of a hippie to use hair products other than the stuff that makes it clean. There's a bit of a weird story to it all. I grow out my hair because I grew up in a religious semi-cult that didn't do long hair on men (or mustaches), so I grow it out now; however, I'm stuck to the idea of men not using hair gels/spray/mousse/etc. The only hair-holder thing a guy can get away with is a hairband while engaged in athletic pursuits, which is better than nothing.

The only one I have is, if you want long hair your going to have to put up with the crappy inbetween. If your hair is curly that makes it worse, untill it gets longer. Seems like people with strait hair dont have much of a problem with the inbetween long and short.

Could always use mousse on your hair while it is still a bit wet to keep it down. I did that when I played out all the time back in the late 80s when my band first started out and I was in the inbetween stage with my hair. Hair spray SUCKS!

I guss it only matters if you are goingto let your hair grow out and let it get some wieght to it or not. After a certain point it just flows down. Thats what I found out.

My hair's weird. It's normally straight. The first inch sticks straight up, the next inch and a half go wherever I comb and stay there, and then it starts to curl. At about 5-6 inches, it starts to curl like I bobbed it. Which looks completely ridiculous.

Might try the mousse thing though.

When my hair was longer, I just pushed it straight back over my head- somewhere between Sylar and a Used Car Salesman. It worked alright on me.

All through High School I dated women... I had four girlfriends and one -extremely- serious relationship with a vastly older woman from Pennsylvania (Pushing 40 when I was pushing 20 >.&gt

It wasn't until I met Steven (First BF) that I ever thought about guys in a really sexual way... But after a 5 year long abusive relationship I bailed. Now I'm in Wisconsin with the man I plan to marry. =-3

First thing I did when I started living on my own was to grow my hair out. My mother hated long hair on guys, so it was not much of an option while at home. Grew it out and just let it hang until it was at my shoulder, then got it caught in a printing press. Painful and messy but not a big deal and switched to a pony tail. Grew it out until it was past the middle of my back, but since it's curley the pony tail was maybe 5 inches long.

Went from the ponytail to a shaved head one day, but had to give that up because the wife didn't like it. Well that and the sunburns through the vent holes in the hardhat I wore.

I had to use conditioner on it when it was long, just to be able to get a comb through it when it was wet.
