Yeah, I've got no issue with more events going on and more people having fun, I just think we have enough ways to communicate such events already. So, whatever all the Victory United folks want to do should use the established channels (not just talking about in-game channels) to make sure that they reach the broadest range of people, and in the easiest fashion possible.
So, not a negative thing at all, just an idea about getting out the message as well as possible.

I happened to be posting through IE, and not Firefox, which picks up any spelling mistakes I usually make. Additionally, one s extra is not much compared to what some of these posts have.
If you're going to be representing anyone at all, it is important to have correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Simple as that. You don't see Madame Pistacio posting in that fashion, nor any of the other PERC or PvPEC reps post like that while they are being the official representatives that they are.
Or so my Composition 1, 2, and Workplace Composition classes have taught me. *shrug*
That being said, the spell check on Firefox is a great thing and I recommend it to everyone.

As per my own policy, I never attend events that have been announced with no regard to the slightest hint at grammatical correctness. It gives me vibes that say either the poster is not intelligent enough to make a coherent idea known, or they are simply too young to know the difference. Either way, I don't deal with lesser minds. Sorry.
