Secondary Builds? AWWWW YEAH!
WHAAAAAA!....
Yeah I saw that! lol this was actually my initial reaction when I saw that you could do that too!
I love dual builds, especially on certain toons.
My AR/Cold Corrupter for example has almost completely different power choices for solo and team play. Dropping those shields and taking less AOE's allows me to include the snipe, acrobatics and a few other bits and pieces.
I love dual builds.

Love dual builds. My Blaster has one build devoted to +rech bonuses and one devoted to defense (softcapped ranged defense). I can't wait 'til they add a third build.

I wonder if the multiple-build code is the underlying functionality for the Going Rogue game, only right now we're limited to builds within the same AT. I haven't made any use of this feature yet, but I'm glad the devs saw fit to include it.

Psst...
You can rename them, too. >.>

Yep, it's true. I need to learn to read more while playing instead of just skimming. "Select Build Pug" is more informative than "Select Build 2"

You know, I bet you are right. Dollars to donuts it will be something like a build change when you are in Praetoria and then you will have the opposite hero or villain zones available to you.
I wonder how quickly the cooldown to switch back and forth will take, or if it will be like a domination thing where you have to build up opposing faction to activate the switch.

Wait, why would this happen? Why would different build necessarily have anything to do with changing sides?
We can rename them too?

Since the current issue's release, yeah.
Some things to note, though. It goes off the "Current build." The only choice you have is "Rename current build." So it will take you 15 minutes to rename both builds - as once you switch builds to rename the other one, the menu's not available (you get the "You must wait X minutes to switch.")
Inconvenient, but it's there.
I dont suppose there is a slash command for switching builds on the fly? Going back to the trainer heroes is pretty inconvenient for build switches (especially during TFs).
15 minutes between switches is fine, but without a trainer nearby, it makes this feature hard to use when you need it.
Unless theres some slash command I missed? I did not see one listed for build switching when I last looked to see if it was added.

Nope unlike the other well known game, you need to go to a trainer.

LOL. Awesome.
Devs Devs DEVS!! First off let me say that I know you guys are gettin a lotta rough(hell, UGLY) criticism lately, but I just wanted to let yall know that I been playin this game since launch and I still love this game no matter what.
But man, forgive me for soundin like a rookie up in here, but I was away for couple weeks and came back and noticed the whole "active build" thing. I ignored it for weeks, then finally checked it out and I'll be damned I love it!! I can finally put the "man, what if I had made my scrapper more defensive minded" concerns out of my head because with this system I can switch on the fly, well, not on the fly per se but yall know what I'm tryin to say LOL. Now my heroes got 2 different styles without havin to create a new hero all over and start from scratch and grind through those same levels with those SAME powers. Oh yeah!
Anyway, among all the hate thats being thrown your way I just wanted to give yall props for puttin this system into the game, it really helps.
