Suggest a good fifth for this team...
Rad/Dark defender
-OR-
Fire/Fire blaster or Spines/Fire scrapper.
Either one would shore up one of the weaker points of the team.
You don't have much in the way of debuffs, Rad/Dark will debuff the hell out of anything it's pitted against. Tenebrous Tentacles will add a valuable AoE immobilize and Dark Pit will add an AoE stun (Stun + Immobilize = de facto Hold)
The Rad toggles and utility powers will be great for debuffs that will let you use your secondary quite a bit.
Fire/Fire blaster or Spines/Fire scrapper will add the AoE damage that your team is lacking. Either one will add a lot of it.
Fire/Rad Controller is another option. It will add more damage, and it shines in melee range, where your heal aura
will do the most good anyway. Hot Feet and Choking Cloud synergize wonderfully together. The imps will add even more melee damage in the later levels.
Those would be my choices. Any one of those four would make a great addition to a static team with the make-up you gave.

Ice/rad is my suggestion. Tons of fun there. Was actually the first troller I got to 50 without doing any kind of farming. Ice seems to lock things down better then fire or plant in my exsperience and you just can't go wrong with rad.
I understand your desire to stay damage heavy with another scrapper, but as a couple people have said, you are going to want the lock down and debuffs later in the game. Taking down some AVs or GMs is almost impossible without debuff from a rad. Not saying it can't be done, but I have seen damage heavy teams attack an AV or GM for a good 30 minutes and barely make a dent.
Not to mention said AV or GM breaking the tanks taunt and killing your scrapper or blaster. I always work my way into vengence on my rads so vengence+fallout+mutate the dead scrapper/blaster and your dps will jump significantly.

However, you have to admit that there's something satisfying about a battlefield that's more mobile. I like when tactics are more complex and movement in battle involves more variables.

I hear you. And I agree with you in many ways. However, this doesn't discount the controller option - you're saying you don't want things locked down in absolute immobility.
So consider a primary like Illusion. They're not very good at freezing things in place. But they've got Phantom Army and Phantasm, which is pure chaos in a box. Nice damage, too.
Or take another defender, maybe a Radiation/ user. The debuffs don't lock things down, as such, but they will benefit your team greatly and let them kill faster. Sonic Blast as a secondary for defenders is also fantastic, because -resistance is an awesome debuff, especially when stacked with -resistance in the primary (like Rad has).
As others have noted, you may require more debuffs than you currently have when fighting AVs in the late game. It is possible your Kin may be enough, but a second debuffer would be valuable.

Rad/Sonic defender. Some more protection, a lot more damage.
... ok, my first thought was "Jim Beam". I'll admit it.

Feh. My first thought was "Single Malt Irish Whiskey". I Win.
As someone else stated, I'd round things out with a Controller, maybe a Plant/Thermal .. that sounds Fun to me, and you get a good mix of Healing, Buff, and Debuff .. plus, Plant/Thermal just sounds Fun.
My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

PS - I don't think anything beats Earth/Rad Controolers when it comes to pure Debuffing. In my eyes, it's the best Debuff Combo around.

I recommend a fifth of bourbon.
But hey, if it would make you happier go with the other suggestions.

Glad I'm not the only one that thought that when I read the title.

LOL, glad to see I'm not alone either!
Now if we just had a Drunken Master powerset.

How about a fifth of Vodka?
Dark/Sonic Defender.
-ToHit to help out the Shield types, /Sonic to help the damage squadron.
AND bourbon. (I thought that first too)
I think the fifth is even better washed down with a little scotch.
Though personally I like to wash down my scotch with a little scotch.
A scrapper(anything works) or Rad/Sonic defender.
Your current team is light in 3 areas.
Lockdown, debuffing and AoE damage.
A Controller would solve the first 2 if selected properly, but the reality is a good Controller will not only boost the team, but it will make some superfluous.
I'd definitely go with more AoE, especially with the Kin buffs there already.
Dead things don't need to be locked down or debuffed.
Arch/MM or Fire/Fire Blaster is a good addition.
Spines/Fire Scrapper would fit too if things are hectic enough that you want that extra survivability.
I would say add a second Defender.
Good sets would be Radiation Emission or Dark Miasma for the primary, and Sonic Blast, or Dark Blast for the secondary.
Rad/ and Dark/ both offer good debuffing, healing and some amount of control.
/Sonic doesn't offer great AoE, but it does add in more -resist which helps your team deal more damage. Siren's Song might not prove too awful useful if you like the AoE damage, but it's there if you should need it.
/Dark offers additional -tohit which stacks nicely with defense, and some extra AoE control ability with Tenebrous Tentacles and Dark Pit (And Torrent too, if you like that kinda thing).
Any combination of those sets would work great.

But only if you have scotch handy, just in case.
OP: what did you go with?
I agree on the controller. You're going to want the ability to lock things down later on, especially if you run TFs, and the secondaries will have useful team augmentation as well.
Fire and Plant both deal excellent damage. I would suggest pairing Fire with Rad, and Plant with Thermal.
Alternatively, consider a Dark/Sonic defender. Dark is a fairly control-heavy primary, and the Sonic attacks will help boost the group's damage even further with their -res.
