I'm Sorry, But Statesman's 1/2 Helmet Looks Dumb.

Oh come on! Manticore shot Statesman in the heart with an arrow. That was hilarious! And then they brought Statesman back to life. (Okay, that last part wasn't quite as funny, but it was still funny.)

The Golden Age costume that appears in the trailer was pretty cool.

His WW2 costume actually had a full helmet and wasn't bad either.

That said, I don't mind his half-helmet. It makes him a little different from other superheroes, I think, and hints his Greek Mythology origins.

It'd hit at his Greek Mythology origins a lot better if it had a Greek hoplite HELMET, rather than a Greek hoplite replica Halloween mask. Seriously, I could forgive the gaudy tights if his head wasn't as absurd, but that mask is just... Ugh!

Ive been playing 5 years, and I only realised he didnt have a magneto helmet with the shift to the new forums. His pic up there art the top - i was like 'wtf?' and all ready to post a 'what have they done to Statesmans helmet?' thread, but luckily I checked first.

Eco.

Seeings that Positron doesn't wear his helmet any more, they should take that and give it to Statesman to wear. Win-win!

When the AE was first on Test, I was playing around in the Library part of it (No powers! YAY), and I turned around and *Blip* Positron logged in!

He was, naturally, being swamped with tells and questions and global chats; but I did get to ask him a couple questions that he did answer!

Like this one.

Oops. That was just me bowing to him. ^_^; The guy in red started doing the same thing too, to which Positron told us in local "Get up you two."

When asked about his costume and his lack of cape and/or aura, he responded "I'm a pre-aura kind of guy."

This was, naturally, done in jest, but still I'd say that this shows that a makeover won't be in the works for a good, long time. ^-^;

That's it! Statesman wears that goofy half-helmet thing to show everyone that he's just too hard-core to wear sensible headgear! He's silently telling everyone "yes, I look ridiculous, but there's nothing you can do about it"! It's psychological warfare!
Psychological Warfare was the short-lived "Pantsless Costume".
