AE is ruined now for good!!!!

Do you really expect to see them back? Kind of like the COP will be back any day now.

I don't expect to be in the game long enough for it to matter either way.
(QR)
Btw, when AE farms were first used, you could really get 5000 tickets, on those big city maps, you know with all the ruined buildings, you would get 9999 tickets, as long as you were participating and fought through. That would get you SOs for all the levels you gained (assuming your not starting from scratch) from that 1 mission, and (if its not a 40-50 level roll) nearly 2, if not 2, Gold Rolls, or a but load of regular ones.
Now? 1,500 tickets...? Thats like....only enough for the SOs, and no room left for any recipe roll. Makes me think of merits...though I have never gotten more than 50 merits on a person at a time...Maybe I should go back to TFs, if I can find a competent team since all those new people that joined when I14 came out have zero-clue how to play/team/etc. with others or *barely* with their own characters...
I14 is really a plot to destroy CoX...
Perhaps the only thing that the AE PLing has benefited were vets who already know how to play and PvP, for allowing people to PL a toon for pvp real fast, I actually noticed a slight up in RV population when I14 came out as compared to when I13 did....

It's like player created arcs aren't worth as much as the games reg arcs ...

Except they are. All you have to do is reset maps more often than you used to have to, and it's only necessary in extreme cases. You still get the flexibility of tickets and the reward rates from high-boss-density combat. The one thing AE arcs don't give you at all is chances at purples, and that was true from day one.

And so someone proves the point that a ticket cap won't stop farmers. Farmers will just exit and rest when they hit the cap. Anyone who isn't farming gets hit by this instead if they're in an arc with larger maps and without the ability to stealth it.
The idea of capping tickets in this manner is counter to the idea of risk vs. reward for this reason.

Except, maybe, people who aren't using the MA for "fat lutz".

QFT.
1500 tickets possible per mission is still a lot, and as a time investment if you're 'not-farming' you can still rake in a lot of recipes and salvage (which you get to choose) purchases, more than you would be able to get through normal missions. The only thing you won't be getting are purple recipes.
If it's a challenge map, make the map any size but large, IE: not a farm.
As far as I can tell, the only ones screaming are the farmers. Anyone who is whining about this change and says "I'm not a farmer" is lying as far as I'm concerned.
Edit/PS: I'm not anti-farming, but the Devs have made their stance on this clear. Take the farming back to Taskforces, PI and Grandville.

Yeah, anyone "whining about this change" is a farmer according to your mind-reading abilities...and if they say they aren't a farmer then they're lying. lol...it's okay to admit that you're anti-farm. Really, it is.

Anyone that runs is a VC. Anyone that doesn't run is a well-disciplined VC.
<sigh> Viv says its no longer "all me".

Lol
As the heavy would say
"Cry some more!.....Cry some more."
Now the AE is fixed and working as intended.

Good thing you're here to tell us exactly how it is supposed to work.
I sure hope nobody comes on and offers a different opinion on the subject; that would just confuse the hell out of everything.

I will miss the chiken tug animation, though. I wonder why they keep removing stuff and never saying why?

The assumption has been to take bugs out of the game until such a time as they can be fixed and reintegrated -- but, while that makes sense for maps, I'm struggling to understand how it applies to emotes.
