Hehe, yeah I read it. I still haven't given up on my Rad/Storm but I started a Fire/Kin and I've been leveling him. He's at like 8 right now and I'm having a craptastical time trying to find groups. It's probably just the empty-ish server I'm on, but I'd rather be on a low-pop server than an overloaded one. I need to find one with a nice middle ground for grouping.

BTW, one thing people never put in their guides (which I wish they would) is how much APPROXIMATELY (I know prices fluctuate like mad) a build will cost after all the various IOs. Like a general range (this is the 5-10mil set, this is the 5-10bil set, etc). Everything seems expensive to me now because my highest char is 22...but it'd be good to have a general idea...

Prices vary by server and day of the month, not to mention willingness to economize or get good deals. Are you willing to drop to a lvl 35 Taunt/End Cost IO instead of the 50 since neither effect is important to you, and it still gets you the set bonus? Are you working on getting these sets at low levels or high? How much of a rush are you in? Are you buying them with merits? Are you in a big SG/VG that might provide some of your salvage?

Prices are really variable on a weekly basis within a server, let alone across servers over months.

I agree with most of your post, but the markets are only seperated by faction (hero and villain), not across servers.

There is NO difference in price from server to server.

Siolfir is right, market prices are the same per faction.

The only issue is the market bounces up and down like an ADHD three year old after eating 5 mars bars and being given a trampoline for christmas.

The only /Kin that I haven't felt end starved on was my Elec/Kin. Slot all the attacks for 2 Endredux and 2 Endmod and they become pretty efficient. The damage is terrible compared to other setups, but the ability to pump out non-stop ST damage is nice.

Elec/Kin actually felt like a really powerful build until I hit Sentinel. Sure it has great DPA and DPE, but in a kin build it feels really...slow.

I ended up going Rad/Kin since I never played Rad Blast before. I didn't know how good Cosmic Burst is for it's mag 3 disorient, which imo offers some nice protection with a /kin build.

I loved the MA when it first came out. I made billions and billions off of selling common salvage.

I scratch my head when I see kin players without leadership too. Kin is tailor made for taking assault + tactics and even vengeance.

the only problem with the /rad set is that its heal is designed to work in conjunction with its debuffs. what usually ends up happening when i group with my fire/rad (first and only lvl 50 toon and the single most fun character ive ever played in any mmo) is that ill drop my debuffs on a mob (called an anchor, for any that didnt know) and start healing toss out my web envelope and drop rain of fire and some idiot has killed my anchor. so now my debuffs are recharging and my team is taking more damage than i can heal through without my debuffs killing the mobs acc.

so basically /rad is quite possibly the single most powerful secondary set a corruptor can have, but unless you're grouped with players that know not to kill the guy you're debuffing until last, its gonna be a rough go and people are gonna think you dont know what you're doing, when in fact its them screwing you over.

Its been so long since I had to use that on a team I almost forget I have healing.

Too busy killing/holding/stunning/debuffing to be healing.

Actually, you can still be "doing your job" and have a teammate (usually a brute or tank) ask for sb that is already on him or her. This is usually when the tank/brute is fighting mobs or AVs that -rech. Say the brute/tank is rounding up a bunch of red or blue ink tsoos, wonder why s/he is moving slow and then look to the /kin for clarification or as cause. Hmm, sb must have worn off, right? lol
