My wings with my Magic Bolero

I was using the fairy wings with the Magic Bolero just fine and today, my wings disappeared.
This is really pissing me off, as I already lost the formatting on my toon's story, and now it's messing with my costumes? What next? Some powers will go away, or some recipes/IOs?

Please, I'd really like to know what is going on here.

Last patch removed the ability to have wings+bolero or cape+bolero due to performance issues.

Well... that's making me really disappointed. I would have liked to know that before I touched that costume. Now it completely ruins my costume.
Jeez, I hate when they do that and remove stuff. Especially when it's something I've paid for and now it doesn't work anymore. That's total [censored], sorry for the language.

Will the simple act of going to the tailor strip this? Or do you have to actively edit the costume in question?

Don't quote me on this, but from my understanding, you will be fine if you don't visit the tailor while wearing the costume you designed with Wings+Bolero. If you visit the tailor wearing any of your other looks you should be fine. I am not certain though, and I haven't been to the tailor on an alt with wings and bolero lately. If anyone knows differently, please post!

No changes should happen to your costume unless you click "accept" at the tailor screen; just backing out will not remove costume parts/combos that are no longer available.

I have a couple of characters with costume parts that are no longer offered (Malaise pants, original Suit Jacket), or parts that can no longer be used together (Trenchcoat and Skull belt, Skeletal robot upper arms with bone spine shoulder option on top).
Of course this means those slots can never be edited, even to change colours.

So if your Wings+Bolero costume is in slot two, it would be best to just avoid visiting the tailor while you are wearing that costume just to be safe.

It doesn't matter if you visit the tailor or not. You won't lose it if you go into the tailor screen and "BACK" out of it. The only way you'd lose it is if you ACCEPTED CHANGES.

im not touching mine its like a rare now cant get it anymore makes the costume rare and different for people that dont have it :P

Yeah, I didn't notice and failed to check the announcements.
I was really dumb on that one.
Anyway, I've redone that costume anyway and it looks pretty good still....

Now, I'll always go read the patch notes. I'll never miss one.

And yeah, it's when I edited the costume and Accepted the changes. I was half-asleep and didn't notice the wings weren't there.
Didn't want to make anyone panic.

Good thing is: AE still have the costume correctly on my Luna critter. So, as long as I never touch that AV, I still can see my costume in all it's glory :P

I grow tired of waiting for a response on this. Clearly it is something we want, and we're utterly ignored; not even given the courtesy of a response.

In light of that, as a form of passive resistance, I will be reporting it as a /bug in the creator every other day. I invite anyone who wishes to join me.

To clarify,

The wings and bolero are mutually exclusive for any new costumes.

Characters with this existing combination can go to tailors, but any edits to that costume slot will result in one of the items being removed.
