Rofl, well now Im just getting my azz handed to me.

Made it through twice on my on my DM/Shield (Unyielding diff) fought through three tier 9 crashes and so far deathless. Used an inspiration here or there if I got an unlucky streak going. Really just a lot of fun.

I did this on unyielding with my heavily IO'd fire/WP, and had no difficulties. But man, that was FUN. I say if you're gonna make a farm, then make a friggin FARM!!! So many freaks 90% of them are just standing there with their arms crossed because they vastly exceed the aggro cap. This is what scrappers are for!

5 stars!

This is a great mission. I've been getting my *$% handed to me on challenge level 4. Going to be playing with this mission over the weekend (hopefully it stays up). Its a great challenge for melee types.

Ran this on my DM/Shield, my Fire/SR, and my Kat/WP.

The Kat/WP did it without dying, just stacking parry and making sure enough mobs were around to heal from. Also SoW helped take alphas. Slow though due to lethal dmg.

DM/Shield loved it, but a few hits go through and a 250hp heal in SL doesn't cut it when a few hit at once.

Fire/SR also got hit but had to run a bit and use Aid Self. The nice thing about Fire/SR right now is all mobs run away from you after a few hits (DOT of fire + SR's not getting hit = bad mob AI) ... so i kept switching targets. I also couldn't pull more than 5-7 or so tanks at once without asking for trouble.

Fun times.

It appears to be gone now. Too bad, just got back and wanted to see if my blaster could some how whittle them down.

I gave it a try on kat/wp on unyielding and I have to say, yeah it was fun. Nothing too fancy, just dove right in and used up inspirations as they dropped. Popped SoW two or three times. Only got low on health once, when DA went on a missing streak and several tanks landed big attacks in succession.

Really interesting room that, and I'll have to try it again sometime. I don't really see any reason to report it though. I've come across far more obvious "farm" maps; this just strikes me as a good clean challenge.

I completed this on Unyeilding but died 3 times, playing my BS/Shield scrapper. In the end I resorted to trays of inspirations and even some running away to heal.

I think my MA/SR might do better, as he can drop Caltrops and has a much spammier AoE knockdown. Might dig Prodigal Hart out of mothballs just for this fight, in fact.

It's still up, just type in Who Cares or Who Cares 2, make sure you're not under "My Creations".

And if you've rated it, that you're not excluding missions you've rated.

Well, I thought I'd throw down with some Freaks too.

This was my first and so far only attempt at this. I was set to Invincible and it was pretty darn fun! I was a tad cautious at first because I wasn't sure how the spawns would work. I kept eyeing that wall of bosses though and it wasn't long until I thought,

"Oh what the hell?"

and charged in.

Shockwave takes the challenge down a good bit but that's ok, it just happens to be a claws specialty that pays well here. Stick and move baby.

They got me after 30 minutes but I'll probably go back at some point.

Man this looks cool, so whats the name? I'd like to try it with my BS/Regen.

Kinda scary actually.

wait I got it.

Another question why are people so concerned about people farming it is wasted energy they are not going way just let them be

I say let them farm. There'll be just that much more wealth on the markets for me to manipulate.

I hate to inform everyone, but I have gotten complaints about my mission, I have unpublished it, and probably will stay that way for awhile, hopefully the "Oh no! It can be farmed!" people have had their fill of trying to get rid of farms(which mine wasn't, or atleast wasn't meant to be) have stopped there self proclaimed savior status by complaining, thank them....

What part can be farmed? The MA doesn't count your kills for kill badges so thats not it. If they say you are farming tickets then they'er wrong again because the best way is to complete story arc and mish so you can get a ticket bounes, So what were people saying you were farming with it?

The large groups in the back, which technically could be spread out over the map, they just happened to be all in one spot, which I guess to whoever it was, makes it a farm....

Posted

If anyone wants to recreate it with different types of bosses all you have to do is make a custom mish with just that particular boss being the only enemy in the custom enemy group you make. I'm sure you all know that but I'm posting a litle ...tipsy so WOO WOO!

That sucks! I told a friend we'd run it again to see how long we could go without leaving the center of it. Tickets were all well and good, I think it was something like 1000-1500 for the each of us IF we spent the time to kill all those bosses. But there are maps I have run that were ending up yielding ~4000 tickets.
In fact if you just went and killed off the two boxes and boss it was something like 300-400 tickets.

I'd play any map like that, that just has a small room and its like dumping all 10 waves of the TV reactor core trial on you. Was awesome while it lasted, hopefully it won't be the only one with something fun like that.

I played it a number of times on my ice/fire tank, when it was up. Honestly, the trickiest part was DR34D, he caught me by surprise the first run, and buildup + FE + blaze = let my body hit the floor, lol.

that first run i also had the hardest time with the freaks; if i was in the big pack, fresh tanks would attack me as others got scared and ran, which gave the RNG too many chances to kill me. I ended up dragging off my aggro limit to the front of the room, where i'd slowly burn them down. Chilling embrace + slow proc kept 'em at -30-50% rech, and usually hoarfrost was enough to fend off the inevitable hits. fun fun map

I was sorry to discover this mission unpublished. I ran it a second time before it was gone and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fortunately I took a screenshot or two of my scrapper in the middle of it all.

Perhaps it's just me, but after playing this game long enough the idea of playing for more experience/influence/stuff loses its appeal. There is the obvious social aspect, but from a solo point of view it's much more about testing your limits and "how crazy can I get before I go splat?".

Yeah, I'm sitting on something like five billion influence before I even start counting assets. If I want stuff, I can buy stuff. I'm playing for the sheer joy of playing at this point, and a giant room of extremely straightforward death like this is FUN.

I suspect that a much larger number of players are still on the "get more stuff" train, though. Heck, I'll probably farm for tickets at some point just out of curiosity. Or maybe not. I never really did with merits. I figured out how I could get them quickly if I wanted, then never did so again. I haven't bought a single thing with merits.

I tried this last night on my 50 elec/elec brute (yeah I know scrapper forum), but none of my scrappers are speced to survive that room. I killed dread first, he happened to spawn the closest, and then started clearing the one of the boxes. I nearly got it cleared when my comp crashed.

I was so frustrated I didn't try again. But it was fun one of the most exhilarating fights I had in a long time. Oh and Fury + Build Up + Lightning Rod + Power Sink + Thunderstrike + Chain Induction while in the middle of the first wave ambush was the most beautiful vision of carnage I have ever seen in this game.

Scrappers need Elec/Elec NOW!!!!!!!

I actually played it the last few times on my blaster. Honestly, the most fun I have had on him since he dinged years ago. He died often, having running battles through the halls, praying torrent would KB several at a time, and generally using all the tricks I have at my disposal. Was great fun, Im hoping something else will crop up like it.

I have run a couple arcs with some good stories, but as much as I would like to be, Im not the kinda player who plays for that. I just play for the fighting.

AV's have been a great challenge for many, but I found this one more to my liking for both my scrappers and blasters.
