PvPEC Presents: Fight Night

The last match was a free for all which started at 10:40ish, so it looks like you just missed it . Sorry to everyone for my newbish with setting up the fights, just need some more practice. Thanks for coming out!

I would just like to say that Monday the 16th was my first attendance to Fight Night. Although I was only there for the first half of the night, I enjoyed the experience that was provided. Sure, I suck at PvP, but I appreciate what you guys in the PvPEC offer.

I was very relieved that during the matches everyone was civil (that I noticed) and there was quite a lack of the trash and smack talk.That stuff is one of the main reasons that I do not PvP more often. I have often told my friends, "You know, I would rather be PvPed by a guy who killed me once a minute and stayed quiet, than a guy who killed me once and reminded me for the next hour."

Who knows? Maybe when I next attend I will have more than just the one level 50 to get my butt handed to me.

Nice to hear that you had fun Annabel! Arena events like these are generally kinda laid back and trash talking isen't very common.(and who has time to type when pvping anyway!,messing around with friends on voice chat might work better if you are into that )
It's just very far from zone PvP that ussually includes a vararity of wierd broadcast conversations which sometimes makes you wish you rather were listning in on the Atlas Park broadcast..

I wish more people tried out PvP in the arena because it's not that different from PvEing with your friends,the goal is the same for most people,to have fun while playing the game with friends.
Ofcourse there isent much other reward, then fun to PvP and in some circles it tends to get more competetive,but in the end like with many other things you get out what you make of it.

Anyway I could only stay for a short while so when I d/c'ed I kinda did not bother to log back in,but was fun for the rounds I managed to stay for, even if I'm not sure I was awake or not

I just wanted to thank Peril, Masque, and MP for organizing this event each week. The arena nights and the pvpec events have been some of the most fun I've ever had playing CoX. This and my SG's arena ladder are really the only things that keep me playing these days. I would highly encourage anyone to give the arena nights a try.

You know the drill, Fight Night tonight! I assume most people are still messing with the new MA system so this should be a nice change of pace and a chance at those PvP Recipes!

Anyhow, had a lot of fun this last Monday evening. Been a little over 1.5 years since I tried any PvP out. Not sure what to bring next time!

Sorry to cut out early last night, but still had fun! Will try to better next time. Probably going to have to figure out my widow build too. Having no travel powers is making it interesting.

I had a good time and was pleasantly surprised. I'm thinking I need to bring my Energy Blaster next time though.

EVen though I think I got one kill all night, it was satisfying to bounce MP around with some hot Repel action
