I've actually been using PayPal for my subscription and for code purchases for quite a while; having the option to now set up recurring billing is definitely a nice touch.

If you mean the market? Like for IOs or salvage? I can honestly say; I do not think that will ever, ever happen.

I'm guessing he means things like renames, move character, slots, buying respecs.

That makes more sense.
I could see the option to "Bill to paypal account"
But that might be more work then just altering their store. Have to link their game to it. So, might be some time before we get that.

Yeah, I was a little shocked as well. You folks do realized that PayPal is not Federally recognized right? Being a victim myself with this organization. I will not use the PayPal options that NCSoft offers. I also suggest you folks do a little research on PayPal before you jump in with both feet.

Not to cause discord on the forums, I just wanted to help folks understand what they might get themselves into. 
Considering how often it was requested that paypal be allowed, I don't see why people have a problem with it.
However to the above poster, guess what? No matter what form of credit card/debit card/banking you do, it is open to abuse. If you are that fearful/paranoid get a Visa or Master Card gift card or try to track down NCsoft time cards and pay with cash. Don't think that will totally protect you though, your job might be doing electronic transfer or you might be robbed the old fashioned way.
There are bad people out there, you do what you can to protect yourself.

The fact that they're not federally recognized is *why* I trust them. You should do some research on the Fed and the FDIC.
Don't conflate PayPal with fraudulent individuals who pretend to be them.
However, I do agree with you that no one should enter into anything without doing the requisite research.

I have a few questions regarding recurring billing please,
If i use paypal, will my paypal account be billed reoccurring? I know i know the wording is bad, sorry, but i cant word it any other way...
My main focus is trying to get around recurring billing. Is there any way besides buying time cards?
You have the option when using paypal as a CoH payment, whether you want recurring billing or a one-time payment.

Anyway I have a question.
I've a European CoH account and when I go to purchase game time there is no option for Paypal, only game time card or credit card. So is there no Paypal option for Euro accounts?
And if that's right would I be able to get around that by purchasing a US copy of CoH and using a US account? I'd be willing to do that.
You're posting on the US forums, therefore you have a US account, not a Euro account.
Other than that, I have no idea.

I have a euro account. It says I have a euro account in my account section.
I had a US trial account at some stage, but the account I actually paid for when I bought City of Heroes in the end was a euro account.

For all of those users that use PayPal for your monthly subscriptions we have great news. City of Heroes is now available for recurring billing on PayPal.
We now accept PaPal as a payment option for all digital code purchases made through the PlayNC store including recurring subscriptions.
