Winter Event---Dec 15th- January 4th!!!

I think that a key part of the problem for the devs was that both Halloween and Winter Events came around the release of i13, which they have been trying to iron the bugs out first, especially after removing the Mission Creator from the plan. I can probably guess that they had very little time to work on anything else so they punted with Winter.

I think that this is more than just a minor gripe. Why should a low-level player even try to get these halos if they can't be used unless they're a 30 or higher? Not all of us have endless time on our hands.

If the devs are listening, please add this to your next quick tweaks. Halos should be like the combat auras.

[/ QUOTE ]Sp, in that case, buy the canes. They're under 100k each and dropping like rocks. If they follow the pattern from halloween salvage you will be able to buy them for about 30k a piece in a week or so. Heck, buy a bunch extra and sell them in July to make all your money back plus a healthy profit. =)

Just read Ex Libre's post about griefing on the slopes....What happens when you summon an Ouroboros portal? I thought you have to click on it in order to be wisked away?

It's griefing because it's intentionally stopping a person trying to accomplish a time trial. It would be like you trying to finish a task force and someone finds a way for you to constantly get disconnected from your server at every entrance.

Ever see a ski event at the Winter Olympics?

Now, imagine someone stretching a net across the course. Even if the skier misses the net, they will most likely go out of control, miss the next set of gates, crash, etc. The interference just cost them their medal.

The thing I was wondering, is why did they drop the "special temp powers"(dont remember what they were called) that were available in D last yer? One (I THINK) was Nectar of something or other, and they were for the co-op mission. Be nice to have those back.

The Nectar, Drop of Vitality, and Drop of somethingorother, were temp powers you bought for the Valentine's Snaptooth mission, not Winter Event.

Or at least I don't remember ever having them for the WInter event.
