Yes the Sync bug makes it unplayable for me. Do you have the sync bug? It has not hit everyone, and not everyone equally hard.
FYI: I have done the Imperius Task Force in 35 minutes. Seen it done in under 30.

I can't say I'll ever do the new Roman TF because I just can't commit 90+ mins on most days. However, there are other things to do. I'm just hoping we get some new ways to play the game.
