Option to enable/disable chat window fade isn't working. You can set it to disabled, but once you zone, chat window flips back to fading even though option shows it disabled.
Happens consistently on all my characters.

Buff icons in the icon bar (under your HP/End) are supposed to flash prior to the effect running out. So you should see an indication that Elude is about to expire. I'm guessing the power icon going grey too early was a bug and was fixed. Since there's supposed to be an "official" indication of that, now, I'd say that shouldn't be a problem.
Unless the buff icon was the icon you're talking about, anyway...
What I'd like is the ability to choose precisely which buff Icons I want to see. That way I can have my "god mode" icons showing so I can monitor them, but turn the others off.
I have noticed as of I12 that the fully empowered Grave Knights cycle weapons among the rusty one (base) to the two-blade one, to the two-blade with the electrical VFX. Previously, once fully empowered they just used the latter. I don't know if the damage amount changes with the different appearances.
Yup, the buff icon under my health bar was the one I was talking about, and it's been commented on as a "known issue" not listed in the "known issues" elsewhere on the forums.

Ah, okay well then Elude not flashing as it is about to run out is most certainly a bug. It BETTER be a bug.
Please let us buy or just hand out a new Global handle, like you did befor.
I have posted befor about this jerk kid who keeps identifeying who i am through my global befor, I have his accounts all on ignore, except guess what.. he always finds me on a diff alt or a diff account.
I used my first global handle change about 2 years ago, then when we got the free change i changed it with my husband lol to our alts that got to 50 together.. however oddly enough about 2 weeks after that we met the most annoying boy in all the universe, and for a while, it was deal-with-able..
It turned out he is NOT deal-with-able, at all.
I have global ignored this punk several times.. doesnt seem to work, I have even petitioned him for harrassment and supposedly it was handled back then..
It wasnt.. this jerk keeps finding me.. he knows what my current global handle is, and everytime i log onto the alt he last saw me on.. he send a tell.
I have him global ignored.. and yet.. he has no problems bugging me..
Now i dont log onto that alt..
Please give us a new global handle change.
P_P, you might be better off petitioning for a personal global change than asking for it for everyone. Outside of a major global name crash, I don't think the devs are gonna want to hand out yet another free change to everyone.

I have a question about one of the new chat channels that we can add to our windows. Does anyone know exactly what CaptionEventFilter does? Every time I ask in-game, people respond that its the Giant Monster alert channel, but the Hero/Villain event channel does that. Is it a redundant channel, or have I not seen what it does?

Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
I had 2 characters that had not been logged in for approx. 10 days and logged both last night. Upon going back to the login screen to choose another character, I noticed the new last logged in days said 49,710 days since last login for those 2 characters. After about 30 minutes, it defaulted back to reflect that I just logged in. I logged that character once again and back to the character screen to see it also reverted back to 49710 days since last login. I suppose that will be fixed but odd where it came up with that number? Also, last night our SG kept losing peoples Globals again for them to reappear later and did that all night.

There was no information that there would be a setting to adjust scroll speed, and it is completely ridiculous that it is automatically set to 1 on all characters when the default setting is 20 and there was no announcement to warn players that they would need to turn the sensitivity up to use it. Also there is no option to turn this feature off although why you would want to I don't know.
This is a hugely awesome improvement to UI and many players don't even know it is working. I wonder how many unnecessary bug reports were filed about this?
In the options window, general tab, if you scroll down to the bottom you can save and load settings files. I love this.
However, I have a small request. Would you please switch the locations of the Load Options to File and Save Options to File buttons so that they are in line with the four save/load buttons above them?
I just know that someday I'm going to make/load a character and click on Load (Chat Settings) from Default File, Load (Window Settings) from Default file buttons, and then inadvertently click on the Save Options to File button when I really want to click on the Load Options from File button.

Absolutely! I very nearly did just that earlier tonight myself. It was a close thing.
I just need to add some love for the Devs for this part of i12.
These changes may seem small to some, but they make me so happy! I've longed to have a way to sort my contacts, a better way to put people on ignore and deal with spammers, and to keep track of players by means other than adding them to a friends list (notes).
These are 'quality of life' issues that really make the game more enjoyable and easier to play, and the changes/additions are much appreciated. I don't have a lot of experience with other games, but am constantly impressed by the way that this game's Devs listen and interact with the players. Issue 12 is outstanding!

Okay, so yesterday, I was playing my new VEAT on one of my accounts and teamed with another villain. Sadly, my widow fell in battle, but the other villain continued to fight. I was about to click the "go to hospital" button but thanks to the other player, I leveled up. And since I leveled, I revived (full health and endurance, with inspirations). This was a nice bonus, not what I was expecting.
My only major complaint is that ignore is still not an unlimited list, (I already hit 200 since i12 launched.) and there are still no toggles to turn off player given buffs to reduce power-spam.

Okay, I ran two different stress tests, and here are the results.
First Test:Me and a friend of mine using a 50, and a 49 MM, respectively. We decided to run Lord Nem.... err, Mender Silo's SF. Good news I did not DC, although I did get some lag during outdoor missions. The only time it got very bad was when we were ambushed by three heroes, but even then the lag wasn't bad enough to make it impossible to do things. That said I received no lag what so ever on the indoor maps.
Note: The Minion's buff icons do not vanish when the buff wears off, or the minion leaves the area of effect. I found this made things very difficult for my Ninja/ MM, as i like to use Jounin for my Alpha strike.
Second Test: Just me and my L25 stalker. Mission was the Mend Breakout Ouroboros mission. Before I12 this mission was impossible, literally. I would walk out into the prison yard for the second half of the mish and DC shortly afterwards. After I12 launched, I could complete it but I still had a hefty amount of lag, again in the prison yard. Mostly, this was caused by mobs fighting each other. But as I said I could complete it.
Anyways that's my report. Thanks Devs for this improvement!

I constantly resize the chat window, by grabbing the top line and dragging it up screen and back down to see people talking. when i play i smash it down small, when i pause i bring it up. Worked fine before.
Issue 12 goes live:::: Now when i resize the chat window, the scrolling stops. I have to MANUALLY grab the scroll bar and move it all the way down to the bottom myself for it to lock to next posted message.
MEH. Fix this pelase. It's really REALLY annoying to not be able to see what people are saying.
Please put it back the way it was, that when someone posts it automatically drops the chat box to the most recent post (i.e. the end or bottom of the box).
As it is now, if i touch the chat box it unlocks the scrolling of the messages until i fix it manually. Not fun.

While I disagree about just "making the way it used to be", perhaps if it could be made so that resizing the chat box has no effect on the scrollbar...
Also Semper_Fi, one thing you might try to get around this annoyance is to make a copy of your chat tab in another of the chat windows (like window 3 or something). Then keep the main chat window squished, and when you stop to talk, open window 3, which you position precisely to cover the squished window (but not the chat entry field). Then when You want to talk or stop talking to fight, you open/close window 3. That way the scrollbar won't be adjusted by changing the window size.
I know this doesn't work as perfectly as the prime chat window, since it has a split window, but if you need the split window, you could use two alternate chat windows. You could even set up a keybind to toggle them both on/off with one button press rather than messing with click/drag... then it's just a matter of positioning them the way you want

Like the new Contact listings. Last night noticed a few more people in the list than I though should have been... found out one was contact for cape mission, another was a Broker that was now active after teaming up for a few paper missions. Nice to have that reminder there, to see what I can actually do.

This might be a bit off topic but still fits. Can we get a new load of background environments for our missions? I am sick of seeing the same thing over and over.
DEVS really need to add new dynamics to the game so it's more enjoyable. I like the additions but add a new wronkle so there's more variety. Many of us get TIRED of running mission after mission to advance. Perhaps make a game or task worth XP. Allow us to do a mini-arc and give us a new power pool (kinda like the patron powers). How about travel vehicles/devices that we can KEEP.
How about a hero for hire system where we each account holder can create an NPC and put it in HERO FOR HIRE type system. Then we can go to the Hiring agency and pick up a sidekick for when we can't find a team (much like the NPC that follows you at the end of certain missions).
Anyway, i12 stuff was decent but the DEVS really need to add some new wrinkles to the game to make it more entertaining. I've been on since Jan. 2008 and it's starting to get a bit dull already.

That sounds interesting. I've been thinking of maybe they could do either a TF or a Veteran benefit where you get an extra power pick from the power sets/pools you already have. Or able to add a couple extra enhancement slots. There would be an upper limit that you could pick those benefits, but I would expect people would be maxing out their characters on it.

Now that would be a cool idea. Sometimes it is hard to get an extra person or two, and if you have an EB/AV mission you might be stuck. I'm a big badge hunter but getting a team for the Shadow Shard ones is impossible with the schedule I keep. Hiring a little extra help would be good. Could even make it an option that besides generic Heroes you could choose to put your characters into the system. Then I could 'team up' with my alts.

Nah, I have done far from all of the content but that's just it. It gets a bit dull when your next missions looks exactly like the one you did a few missions back. The enemy is located in the same spots and the appearance is the same. I'd rather have new looks and more content (like I noted above) than creating these new groups (Midnighters) and adding background. I'd like both but if I have to pick then I would choose diverse looking missions and other suggestions I've made.
I would also really like it if our servers list included all English speaking servers all over the world. We could quash a few of our current least active servers and replace them with the other servers from other areas. It would give us choices and would increase the numbers. I am also sure it would be far more enjoyable just to see the CoH world interact on one list of servers.
I don't think any of my suggestions are difficult and would make the game way more fun (IMO)

That sounds like a pretty cool Suggestion . Sounds like something that should involve Hero Corps. Maybe Matthew Burke could found "Mercenaries Incorporated" for redside also. I'd love to be able to "hire" one (or more!) of my alts to accompany me on a mission as a NPC. Just being able to screenshot them together would be F'n cool!

Careful when you save/load window options between CoH and CoV - you can end up with a red, or blue, color for your UI if you save from CoH and load in CoV, or vice versa
