This section is absolutely for anyone and everyone that cares to post or just lurk. There are no "outsiders" as far as I am concerned. When it comes to these forums, we are all part of "The Community".
Yea we all community. But I suppose there are regulars, non regulars, and lurkers too!
We should all just get along!
Respect each other, agree to disagree, and all that good feeling stuff :P

I hope my earlier comments were not misunderstood and just want to point out that my earlier arguments was not intended to say that no one outside the art community is allowed to post in this area (heck, I don't post in this forum regularly myself). I wholeheartedly agree that everyone on the boards should feel welcome no matter where the go. The point I was trying to make was that each forum tends to it's own sub-community within the general forum community (I believe Ex Libris once described this as "micro-community" vs. "macro-community"). And each "sub-community" tends to form its own identity and sense of what is acceptable and what isn't. For example...what is considered acceptable in PWNZ may not be considered appropriate in most other forums, stuff posted in Justice may not necessarily work in Virtue, posts that are considered okay in the Stalker forum may not mesh well with the Defender forum, etc.
The point I was trying to make was that those who were objecting to the posts seemed unfamiliar with what is considered "acceptable" by the more regular posters of this particular forum. The "issue" had not been much of an issue until these posters started posting in this forum. Initially, the regulars politely posted that the "issue" had never been a problem before...to which those who objected continued to make it an issue by arguing their strict interpretation of the "rulz." And the debate sparked from there.
Basically, the problem boils down to "what has been accepted practice by the regular posters in this sub-community that hasn't been an issue in the past" vs. "the newer posters' more strict interpretation of the rules."
Yeah imagine how well it'd go over if we had 'Good morning screenshots and art forum!!!' here every day :P

My quote was not directed at anyone in particular and I apologize if you felt it was directed towards you.
I want you to understand that I do know where you are coming from and I do totally understand. I don't know what more there is to say about this. The forums have rules. They're pretty standard rules IMO. Everyone knows the rules (I think).
Simple solution:
Do not directly link anything that could be considered a violation.
Not knowing the rules is no excuse for breaking them!!!!!! :P
DELETE!!!
Darn forums. Please have them fixed soooooon!!!! I can't even delete my own double posts

No worries Niviene, I didn't feel picked on! Just read your post, thought about my earlier posts and felt that some clarification on my part may have been in order.
Moral of this Story? Don't mark anything as NSFW since it brings immediate attention to the thread that would normally be overlooked by most people
Keep in mind, there is a difference between 'not safe for work' and 'not safe for forums'.
There are things portrayed in game that I could never display at my day job - fishnet tights, bikinis, high heels, and lingerie... even a dedicated slider for breast size. Having screenshots and drawings of these in-game items is fine for the forums, but would get me in trouble if they were hanging in my cube.
With that in mind, I would still like to see people tag stuff NSFW, even if it's just simple and safe stuff for the forums, if there's a chance it might be risky.
What I would actually try to do is post NSFW -AND- a short description of what it is so people can decide. Like NSFW - girls in bikinis! Or something.

I think it's safe to say we'll all just have to agree to disagree on the whole issue of freedom of speech verses censorship - or to nipple or not to nipple?
Our little Scarfie has made the best workaround so far in terms of highlighting the art without providing a direct link. It's not perfect, but I can manage that.
And why hasn't Dominatrix and her bondage fetish gimps been hit by the Decency and Morality Brigade yet?

God I love the ignore feature .
Anyways since we already know how to not directly link NSFW images I think this is pretty done , luckily I can draw anything available in the costume creator without worry so more girls in skimpy undergarments

Might be just me, but the Vahzilok Eidolons have a similar gimp look as well, so after seeing them people might just think back them. *shurgs*

I couldn't even post it on DA, I'll have to find somewhere to host that stuff again
Sadly, the places where you could... tend to be frequented by immature goofballs that collectively make Beavis and Butthead look intelligent.
