Yeah, I got that Mad, that's what I was talking about. Another big difference is that virtually all of the matches took place on test so SGs from all servers could compete against each other.

I will definitely be trying SWTOR, I'm not going to lie I'm looking forward to it quite a bit, but I'm trying not to hype myself up too much in case it's a let down. I made that mistake with CO and Warhammer and a few other MMOs recently that ended up being pretty bad, and was pretty disappointed. Everything I'm hearing about SWTOR sounds good so far, such as it having PvP servers on top of the instanced stuff and warzone type things, so it's hard not to get excited... I've always preferred Sci-fi MMOs over most others, one of my favorite MMOs of all time was AO.

Pretty sure I joined whatever guild Smoke and Artic are in, I haven't visited their site in like a month and I have never talked to any of them, not sure where they are planning to go, though I'm pretty sure it will be a PvP server.

Ahh, now I get you. AFAIK 16v16 was never really popular, certainly not when Lions Den was around. Why you ran into several screen shots of 16v16 scores I can't answer, but the only time I remember those happening much was when some SGs were trying to get into PvP for the first time and thought the larger numbers would help them (they don't). The larger battles would take a lot more active PvP SGs/VGs to make happen and we just don't have the numbers.

Actually, in the earlier days of PvP, the standard for team matches on test was a 16v16 20 minute round. 12v12s were also popular for a time, as were server vs server battles with over 20 people on each team.
The way to do it is by using the "super group rumble" setting. Unfortunately, not enough people play for it to be a consistent thing.
Even if enough people played - you can't form teams before entering arena matches now, so it'd be dumb, because you couldn't control who ends up on which team when in the match.
Ya, you all need to stay here. My guild(s) is going to be there from GW and EvE Corp and I don't want them to know I know any of you...

The devs will never make PvP in this game unique or cool because they don't see the potential the engine provides.
