I remember a guy whose name I have forgotten, but I believe it was "Lightening Boy" or something like that (Lab used to call him "He who shall not be named" and that appears to have led to me forgetting his actual name).
It was pre-CoV, and he had an ice/em blaster. His claim to fame was a series of last man standing matches where he would just stay in phase shift for hours on end until the last of his opponents left the match.
Thankfully, I was never in any of those last man standing matches, but I did agree to duel him once on my rad/psy at lvl 40. "Good luck have fun" in arena match chat, and then just before the match starts he "stealth-switches" the settings to a Rated match at lvl 1 - 5. I killed him a couple times real quick and he quit out. Fun stuff.

Don't know if you remember that I started off as a Dark Mystic, a DM/Regen scrapper on Justice. You were the man to fight in a duel. I think the closest I ever got was like 8-5 once in a match.
Actually, a little history no one cares about. I was originally going to join the Bots as my PvP SG, but I didn't want to reroll a new character since you had to have ____Bot as your name.
It was then that I went to test server to find a new SG and Joined LD a few days later. I ended up rerolling a Sonic/EM blaster (Triox) since they just came out with sonic and I thought the -res from sonic teamed with Energy would be so strong in PvP. Too bad Sonic Blast sucked and I never really got to play him in a real match (Rerolled again to ill/emp and finally saw some game time).

I fought and won many duels vs. Snipefu and other blasters with my eng/eng blaster on test, but I don't have any of those screenshots cuz that was before I really started caring about keeping records of stuff.

Did you now? I seem to recall that before I retired I lost maybe a total of 2 or 3 duels to blasters. One of them I know for sure who, which leaves maybe 1 or 2 other duels I lost.

His name on that toon was Foomanchu, and I remember watching one of those fights, cause I had just dueled him before he fought you.
Foo retired from CoH, and is currently doing his ppP serving in the USMC.
