Good writeup of the pvp past, but just to nitpick on my spines/regen scrapper on offense, it was actually a hybrid role and my 1st priority was to taunt blasters to disrupt enemy targeting (confront/challenge build, both 6 slotted acc/5range), and attack the called spike target in between taunts. So essentially that build was a defensive player primarily, offense 2nd.

spiners were pretty fierce back in the day when you could slot all dmg in their attacks, criticals would hit for over 700, ouch. plus also the 80 ft range (was more for me since i slotted 1acc/dmg and 5dmg/range in my impale)

theyre not just the avengers, they're awesome and avengers too
