For an 82 minute interview, I seem to be only able to hear the first 41 minutes....? And this is after a few goes.

Still working on transcription, haven't forgotten about it. It's not going quickly, especially with my usual responsibilities. Hoping to be done with it sometime tomorrow.

Thanks for your patience. :-)

Sweet, lots of information here.

I tip my hat to you for transcribing this.

Interesting.

I am glad he doesn't have the power to get rid of the teleporters, though.

I've always had a problem with the medical teleporters too. At the very least I'd like one zone where they don't work for some reason. What would replace them I have no idea but something that would translate into a stiffer penalty for dying.

Wow, he answered three of my five questions! What a way to come back to the game and the fora after a week of travel!

Thanks to Hero 1 for answering the questions, Viv and Cooch for asking them, the community staff for setting the podcast up, the podcast gang in general for producing the podcasts, and my parents for producing me.

I finally got a chance to listen to the whole interview. Great job by all involved.

Hero1 seems like a pretty bright guy with a lot of ideas. The interviewers did a nice job too.

Btw, we want Reichsman. There are few things more satisfying that beating up nazis.

Try the old hollows. Try it without having the now spoiled but loved temp travel powers that are available starting at lvl 5.

Having to run to the middle of the zone, on the mountain, say at lvl 6-8 in a team of 8.

There was also faultline, eden, crey's foly, perez park.

Perez Park is the was the worse b4. Imagine your team is inside the middle of the park, no one with recall, and your mission is inside the forest somewhere, which is inside the walls.

Oh of course there was boom/buamtown. Having to run from Steel Canyon, to the north end, red for people under 14, then traveling all the way to the back or climbing up. Yeah the good old non spoiled days =P.

The Reichsman is also popular because of this:

"The ensuing battle raged through the Portal Corp laboratories and spilled out into the city streets. The Reichsman was every bit the equal of his all-American counterpart, and the two nearly beat each other into the ground. Fortunately, the rest of the Amerika Korps did not measure up to the Freedom Phalanx (apparently in his world the Reichsman did not take kindly to potential rivals, and thus their training had been somewhat lax). With his henchmen defeated, it was only a matter of time before the evil Statesman fell. To this day he remains frozen in suspended animation within the Freedom Phalanx's main headquarters."

It would have been interesting to see what would have happened had he been backed up by superior forces.

I think the Reichsman draws such attention because he was the first 'dark mirror' character to Statesman. Tyrant came along later and became a more active version of the same thing, but the Reichsman got everyone's attention first.

Ultimately, the Reichsman should rise again as the Fifth Column tries to reinvigorate itself... and that particular arc should end in a Tyrant vs Reichsman vs Statesman battle royale. :-)
