I've had the costume since i11 came out, because I wanted to use the DB set with double Gladiuseseses...
Anyway, the helmet is the samurai helm with the large fin. I think you can figure the rest out. It looks better on a guy... in black and purple and muted brown.
But since Alex will attest to my being a costume who-re, the look did not last... so go ahead and take it with my blessing!

sweet!, der... I didn't think to use the metal fin thingie with red trim. the closest I could find was the mohawk fin, but that wasn't available with the helmets.
Yeah the body and skirt and such I already have an idea for. In the comic it had the base look for a Roman soldier but quite modified to fit Lady Death, even has her holding a shield with... a Greek letter Lambda.. oh hell... It's a Greek soldier... D'OH!
Oh well.. they still have the helmet and plume, jsut different details. *needs to pay attention to details more...*

I've seen people do a pretty decent version of the Spartan armor, or lack there of, it would be harder for a female toon, as there's no bare chest option... but that can be worked around.

I don't have the comic with me atm, since I'm at work, but from memory they have Lady D with the silver helm with red plume, a metal bustier like top, a sword that looked fairly close to a Greek Hoplite, the forementioned shield with an uppercase Lambda, I wanna say silver with golden highlights, the skirt I cant' remember too much details of, but was a standard classic ancient skirt with the metal waist that looked fairly soldier fitting.

I'm willing to wait for the costume sets. I jsut realized that I was going to put it on my stalker anyway, which is the last of my 5 villains I'm planning on working on, and she's only 12 atm so I won't have the slot open for her Lady d look soon, just wanted costume ideas.

If I recall correctly, they were accidentally put on the test server for a little while last year...
Personally, I think they should give out Ouroboros Merits to get costumes like that... but I wouldn't be complaining if they give them away free.

What happened was this. Someone hacked some unreleased costumes and bits of npc's for player use and then posted a thread demanding why these were not available. Needless to say they were removed from the forum.
Later some GM powers accidentally slipped to test and people were able to see some outfits, such as the screenshot of backpacks that is roaming about, which I have somewhere. I have yet to see anyone running around with these costumes on test as I can't remember if test was rolled back due to the GM powers, I think it was.
Later SexyJay posted hints to some different costume sets, I was under the impression they would all be released before 2008 but that doesn't seem to be the case. People guessed at the letters and as far as I remember the only one that has not been released yet is the Roman set.

I love the idea of getting Merits from doing flashback missions as long as it isn't something as an insane amount needed for each piece.

Any amount of hoop jumping to unlock costume pieces, weapons, or whatever is insane. People that have no interest in badge grinding, pvp, or market trolling shouldn't be forced into doing it just to gain access to content they can't get any other way. Too much of that in the game already.

Just simple achievements to get some costume pieces.
My idea is to make a costume piece for each level range in the flashback system. Do 5 missions in that level range and you unlock the costume piece.
Simple, fun and you earn the influence to use the new piece.

since there's already another costume advice post out there I thought I'd throw out my own. I tend to do themes across my Heri's and Wherls, civilian, the Dollz, robot mimics, etc.
A while ago I picked up the Lady Death Warrior Temptress (Ninja cover) comic as part of my usual subscription to Lady Death stuff. And her in in the ninja pose with other ninja around her blew me away, as did the all the various "warrior" themes Lady was drawn in. So I thought.... dude.. I wanna make those in CoX. So far I've gotten made a modern matrix version of her, her classic Lady D look, and plan on making a samurai, ninja, and Roman soldier looks for the 3 Wherls who don't have those costume slots open yet. The ninja and samurai I can fidget with the costume creator to et what right look I'm going for.
However, I'm a bit stumped going about trying to make a female Roman Soldier, particularly the helmet and plume.
If you guys were trying to create the same what would you guys do?
