Yes. Turn on the Double XP.
And then forget to turn it off.

It could happen, Positron might spill his bowl of Froot Loops into the server, causing short circuiting and glitches. As a result, they won't be able to turn off the double XP. Then players will notice that XP is ramping up the longer you stay in combat! Super Speed tankers become very popular, herding gobs of mobs to keep rockin the house. Everybody will be fighting all night!
More sparks fly out of the server, Positron calls States and wakes him up at 2 am in a panic! More XP glitches... Defenders heal for XP instead of health... players get XP for each point of damage... Masterminds' robots go on strike!... rioting... pillaging... Rikti Invasions! free pie!!!

...but, yeah they would just pull the plug. Guess we'll have to settle for one lousy weekend

At exactly what time (PST) will Double XP weekend END on Sunday Feb. 10th? I am planning an all weekend LAN party...

The servers will come down for their normal maintenance starting at 6 AM Pacific (9 AM Eastern). Because of the maintenance done yesterday, this should be a quick bounce and be back up well under the 2 hours we reserve.

Sorry I can't be more specific, but that's as close as I can get without giving you a time (which I can't guarantee so, I won't).

The servers will come down for their normal maintenance starting at 6 AM Pacific (9 AM Eastern). Because of the maintenance done yesterday, this should be a quick bounce and be back up well under the 2 hours we reserve.

I think the question was when does it end.. not begin...

At any rate, based on the announcement, I believe 2XP is "guaranteed" until ... 12pm EST(I think?) Sunday night... But it usually runs til server maintenance on Monday morning.

Playing well west of the Mississippi, (Australia), I have to take the Monday off of work to enjoy the weekend. Sometimes I can get it off, and sometimes I can't, but I always give it a shot. This one cost me coming in for an extra 11PM ro 2 AM shift and getting back in at 8:45 AM. Well worth it.

It will run until Monday morning. It always does. Gravy would be maintenance being delayed until Weds

Ah, now this is how I know I'm in a good marriage - my husband and I have successfully managed to schedule time for each of us to play (because we have only one computer that can handle the game).

And this is despite the fact that we BOTH came down with the flu this weekend!
