Arc Name: Echo Down the Aeons (note: this is the Arc to run at level 15 in "real time" to obtain the requirements to gain the Ouroborus Portal and Entrusted with the Secret badge ALSO if you want to take a partner with you that is at least level 15 into this, THEY will emerge from the arc with the Portal power and Entrusted badge)

[/ QUOTE ]

You won't be able to flashback this arc with a level 15-24 character on your team, because everyone has to be in Ouroboros to start, and you have to be 25 to get into the zone.

And for a while things were cold,
They were scared down in their holes
The forest that once was green
Was colored black by those killing machines

Or the ALTERNATE Method: Have an Ouroborus Pillar in your BASE and all teammates meet up in the base for the person to start it.

Works just fine as that was how I tested this.

Another is once you are Level 25 and haven't yet been exposed to Time Travel, have someone open their Ouroborus Portal and you travel into it to the new zone and get the map badge in it.

[/ QUOTE ]
Or use the Pillar in your base to do any flashback mission and you'll get the power. However, you may not get the Entrusted badge! You can just go to Ouroborus and get the explore badge any old time, though, now that you have the power.

Or simply be between Level 15 and 24 and have a hi level pal team with you, enter their base to use their Ouroborus Pillar to Flashback to Echo Down the Aeons. Every toon I've done this for be they my low level toons or friends toons emerge from the Arc with the Portal and Entrusted Badge

SECTION 4: obtain the Level 20 to 24 badges:

Contact Name: Lt. Chalmers
Arc Name: Operation Skyhook
Mission 1: get glowie, not a kill all
Mission 2: visit Dr. Percy
Mission 3: kill all and get glowie

[/ QUOTE ]

Nice work!

Operation SkyHook has 4 missions - there is a Kidnap the Council Defector after mission 2. Not too hard, just some Wyvren in a cave setting. The last mission is not a kill all - two glowies to find in a Council base.

Did take six tries for the 30 minute badge for me, and we didn't manage it duoing (some of which was due to operator error, I admit).

If you don't have stealth or superspeed or a stalker on your team, the 30 minute badge is not easy, but having looked at some of the other options, I have to agree what's recommended is pretty much the only choice.

Three things which helped me, and which you may want to throw in for people to consider for the 30 minute badge: 1. Solo it if at all possible if you don't have a stealth person on team. 2. The stealth empowerment buff isn't worth much, but it did make enough of a difference that I could fly by mobs without *too* much trouble. 3. Cut down travel times between the Cap and Port Oakes mission by summoning the Ouroboros portal *inside* the second mission, after the mission completes but *before* you exit the mission. Use the Ouro portal to go directly to the next mission zone from inside the second mission - the missions always came up in the same zones for me, so that wasn't a problem.

Also, the last mission always came up as the funky mission inside the Arachnos building. It had been so long since I'd run a mission in that zone, I'd forgotten about that. Urk.

I know the bit with the Ouro portal may sound silly, but it eliminated two zones - and as I finally finished with just 45 seconds left on the clock, that probably saved the badge for me.

P.S. Thanks for the guide!

I've ran into a bit of a snag doing The Hit List arc. Every time I tried it (with two seperate characters) I followed the map to the door to the first mission... only to have the marker tell me it was about 80 feet below the ground in Marconeville, with no clear way how to access it. Is there a bug or am I just being a thicky?

The entrance to the mission is the room where the Super Group Base Registrar is. You know, the guy that collects the rent

Revision as of March 10, 2008

SECTION 8: obtain the Level 45 to 50 badges:

Contact Name Operative Grillo
Arc Name Escaped!
Mission 1 thru 3 are all kill boss and can be ghosted. End boss on each isn't too tough of a fight for most archetypes.

Alternative Efficient Arc:
Contact Name Levantera
Arc Name Strange Case of Benjamin Decker
Mission 1 Rescue/Escort watch for ambushes
Mission 2 Rescue/Escort, hostage usually near door, but if not watch for ambushes
Mission 3 Speak to Dark Watcher
Mission 4 Get 4 glowies: but the catch to this mission is that among the mission goals are to not set off the alarms or engage the Rikti in battle. This is also a 1 hour timed mission. All you need to do is locate and get the 4 glowies. No fighting needed and in fact combat should be avoided. Once you have all four glowies the mission ends successfully and then you can blast all the Rikti to your hearts desire. Stealth powers are nice for this but are not mandatory.

More challenging Arcs:
Contact Name: Tavish Bell
Arc Name: The Code Merlin
Mission 1 kill all
Mission 2 kill all and get 2 glowies
Mission 3 find and kill the demon ARCH_A aka Baphomet. Can receive Demon Slayer badge if you don’t have it

Summary of recent Revisions:

1. The Level 20 to 24 arc was corrected due to a minor error of omission.

2. The Sections for 35 to 39, 40 to 44 and 45 to 50 were also recently revised, perhaps the biggest change being in 35 to 39 to accomodate some character archetypes that couldn't handle the Technician Naylor arc as well as others can.

Also a big thanks to Ex Libris for inputting the changes! Thanks again Ex!

SECTION 7: obtain the Level 35 to 39 badges:

Easy Arc:
Contact Name: Basse Croupier
Arc name: Fat Cat City
Mission 1: Get Glowie only. Multiple Glowies on the map, only one is the right one. Location of the right one can vary. Doesn't need to be a kill all.
Mission 2: Get Glowie only. Multiple Glowies on the map, only one is the right one. Location of the right one can vary. Doesn't need to be a kill all.
Mission 3: its named as kidnap mission and its briefing sure makes it look like you have to escort the target to the exit while fighting ambushes but you don't. This is actually a Kill Boss and Guards mission, thus it can be ghosted.

Note: this Arc was added in response to some PM's I received from those that felt the Technician Naylor arc was too difficult or impossible for certain archetypes.

More challenging Arc
Contact Name: Technician Naylor
Arc name: Last Stand on Mole Point Bravo aka Bravo for the Shadowshard
Mission 1: kidnap and escort tech to the glowie: there is no exit button so you must get back to mission exit yourself
Mission 2: Defeat the 2 longbow squads inside the chamber with you, click the glowie then go into the area with the Rularuu and locate/defeat the Longbow Commander (usually an Elite Boss)
Mission 3: You have to locate the Arachnos Agent named Rimsey and escort him to the glowie. The Glowie is in beginning of map so you can easily figure that Rimsey is farthest from the glowie. To make it worse, IF Rimsey dies the mission is a failure and you WON'T receive any flashback badges. To make it even more interesting, if enemies get in range of Rimsey he WILL stop to fight them, and of course Rularuu ambushes occur as you escort him. Best strategy, locate Rimsey, then before freeing him, go back and clear out all enemies along the path you will be using to escort him back, then free Rimsey and keep moving and you should outpace all ambushes.

Note: I like this arc since it’s the one where Tech. Naylor is sending you into the portal for each mission. There is no traveling involved in this arc. So set up the Flashback and warp via the Pillar of Ice and Flame to Naylor and just click him after each mission then reenter the portal. As of 3/17/2008 due to some requests I have added the Fat Cat City arc (listed above this one) for players that found the Technician Naylor arc too difficult for the character they were using.

Very Challenging Arcs
Contact name: Magus Mu'Drakhan
Arc Name: A Traitorous History
Mission 1: defeat boss
Mission 2: kidnap/escort thru ambushes
Mission 3: get glowie and defeat Aurora (EB/AV with PSI attacks), watch for ambushes.

Contact name: Arbiter Leery
Arc Name Crossfire
Arc Name No One Gets It 3 mishes in each arc extremely tough Elite Boss/AV at end

No Deaths

Contact name: Johnny Sonata 8 missions with tough EB/AV at the end

Level 35 to 39 Flashback Badges:
These 4 Parameters can all be enabled in one Flashback Arc

Constant Debuff --- Venturesome
Enemies Buffed --- Stalwart
No Inspirations --- Phoned it in
No Enhancements --- Decreased

Of the 3 below: only one can be set per Flashback arc but can be set in addition to the above parameters:

AT powers only: --- Obligated
No Travel Powers: --- Stalled
