The Titan Network is proud to finally release the Titan Key!

What is the Titan Key you ask? It is a universal login for the Titan Network sites!

Signing up for the Titan Key is easy and free. It allows you to login to City Info Terminal, CoH Faces, and the CoH Planner (with City Game Tracker support coming soon) with one username and password! It also grants you access to our newly consolidated Titan Network Forum! These forums will replace the individual forums for each of these sites, again making it easier to keep track of all information pertaining to these sites.

So, what's the delay?! Go get your Titan Key TODAY!

I didn't want to see this thread hit 100 views with no replies. We put some effort into this to make it all work smoothly. We're still working on integrating it into CGT (both the site and the app) but speaking from personal experience, it is FANTASTIC to have ONE login for 3 (soon to be 4) sites and the forums.

Well, offhand it didn't seem to need replies. "Oh, cool. Let me do this." BAM! I'm on another site, no time to reply here.

Actually, though, I have a question. It lists 3 sites (so far). I have an account on ONE of the three. If I . . . .

Never mind. I was going to ask if it will maintain the existing account and simply tie into it. I went to the site and see that my question is answered right on the first page.

Instead, I now have a different question. One of the pieces of info it asks for right off is my in-game global handle. Is this required? Will this be shown anywhere? I don't list my global in a sig and maybe I don't want it listed anywhere.

As of right now, no, the Global is not listed anywhere. Your username is your display name.

It was a bump more than anything else.

Hey, there's CAKE!

Happy Birthday to the Titan_Network account! If there's an actual person's birthday behind that... then of course, a very Happy Birthday to you too!

August 31, 2012. A Day that will Live in Infamy. Or Information. Possibly Influence. Well, Inf, anyway. Thank you, Paragon Studios, for what you did, and the enjoyment and camaraderie you brought.
This is houtex, aka Mike, signing off the forums. G'night all. - 10/26/2012
Well... perhaps I was premature about that whole 'signing off' thing... - 11-9-2012

EDIT: Put in some line returns.

Impossible though it may be, that is a cut and paste of the webpage I ended up on after trying to log in to citygametracker with the user and password the titan page claims to have given me.

Are we not supposed to log into the other sites?

Impossible, because CoHTitan.com is written in PHP.

More details would be excellent

I am assuming this is for CGT. I am working on getting all the bugs figured out for CGT. I hope to have most/all of them fixed in a few weeks.

Titan eh? Planning to overthrow the gods?

When are you guys going to cut to the chase and just buy the rights to CoH/V? ;-)

Seriously - good work all.

Citygametracker is giving me a similar error when I click on its download link

Yeah sry about CGT guys/gals. When we let The Titan Network go live today all sites were up and running 100% except CGT. It still needs a little bit of work and is currently undergoing said work as we speak. The guys/gals behind the scenes here at TN are working their butts off on getting everthing just right for the users of our community. We just wanna give back to the community that gives to us. Thanks for being understanding and we appreciate all your support.

I'd like to say 'thank you'. I didn't have any accounts, so decided to join up now that a universal login was available. All accounts were created with one set of input data from me. Bloody brilliant!

Keep up the good work!!

Posted

However, it will be great when the CGT bugs are fixed!

Posted

I have a question.
Are there any plans to get this integrated with badge-hunter.com?

Posted

This is awesome, I just wish I could have both of my CoH globals associated with this, rather than having to pick one.

We're working on it! We're still waiting on word from Pudds about a few issues (avatars being the main one), and the rest is just taking some time to get squared away. If you haven't already, you can at least download a working version of the CGT software here:

http://www.cityinfoterminal.com/host...tatusSetup.msi

As for badge-hunter.com integration... stranger things have happened but I feel pretty sure that's an unlikely scenario

We are in talks with another, extremely prominent, CoH site, but since it's just talks i'll leave it at that for now

That's not a bad suggestion either... I'll make note of it, it shouldn't be hard to implement at all.

The current download link does not go to the new version of CGT. I am waiting to be added to the SourceForge project so that users will be able to use that.

I am currently on Vacation but around and will look into all the CGT issues once I get back from Vacation. I did put up a quick fix to the new forums though. Some of the other bugs are bigger and will take longer then 5 minutes to fix.
