Hunting mostly in boomtown with a lvl 50. Centering on council with a few trolls and clockwork thrown in.
-Icy "needs da sleep" McFlame
Just an FYI to anyone coming in late. I think this has been mentioned before, but it bears repeating. Over at ParagonWiki, we are trying to keep up with a publically availible copy of the results of all this data that people have been collecting here. If anyone wants to see what has already been identified as coming from where, please, come check it out.
Also, the main IO set tracking page has been updated to show the known drop pool origins of the various enhancements. Also trying to keep that up to date as people add more data here.
A thanks to all who are taking the time to add notices of what they have found.

Also, I got the St. Louis Slammer temp power as a Pool A drop, which is the first temp power drop I've gotten ever (and I've seen a fair number of drops). Interestingly, it dropped from a level 33 mob, but the recipe was level 10. I'm guessing all the costume and temp power recipes are kinda like that, since they obviously do not have a specific power level.

Yes all costume and temp powers so far are pool a. Costumes are L1 and temp powers are L10. I'm sure this designation is nothing more then to designate who can use what at what level.

Pool B
Got a couple of pool A confirmations:
Tempered Readiness: Dam/Slow
Perplex: Conf/Rng
One in pool B:
Pacing of the Turtle: Dam/Slow
Keep 'em coming guys
Thanks for the updates all. Plenty of confirmations so far on all Uncommons being Pool A - so I'm pretty confident on them now.
We now have 74% of recipes accounted for:
Pool A - 276
Pool B - 32
Pool C - 28
Pool D - 8
Unknown - 121

Are you sure about this one Devilsrope? I only ask because it would be the third recipe in the Pacing of the Turtle set to be Pool B, and so far the most I've seen in other sets is two Pool B's - and there do seem to be some patterns too, with the "two B" sets looking like they are AABBCC. Up until this one, Pacing of the turtle was ??BB??, which led me to expect Dam/Slow (which is the second in the set), to be an A. Mistaking an A for a B (or vice versa) can be easy to do in the rigth circumstances - since you can get an A off the last mob which completes a mission.
I've left it as Pool B for the time being in my spreadsheet and in the summary above until I know any better, but I've added a note about thinking it "should" be Pool A.

Crushing Impact - Dam/End - pool A.
I got it off of a Carnival of Shadows Attendant minion in a mission.
So I'm not sure how to report this, so I'm just gonna paste what happened in my combat window.
This is what happened when my team defeated Lord Recluse in the STF last night (I selected "Rare Recipe" as my reward).

You gain 32000 influence.

With Recluse's defeat, the power of the Web begins to burn itself out. The threat is passed, and the day has been saved!
Now readying Clobber instead of Bash.
Lord Recluse: This...
Clobber is still recharging.
Doc Silver1 heals you for 515.55 points of damage.
Congratulations! You earned the Peerless badge.
Clobber is recharged.
Bash is recharged.
Whirling Mace is recharged.
Lord Recluse: Is...
Taunt is recharged.
Lord Recluse: Impossible. . .
You received Unbounded Leap: +Stealth.

The Unbounded Leap was the drop I got from the TF reward. I'm not sure which pools the other two are.
Kam
Ooh you did quite well there. It looks to me that the Invention: Resist Damage was for defeating Lord Recluse (Pool A), Sting of the Manticore Dam/End was an end of mission drop (Pool B), and Stupefy End/Stun/Rech was the end of TF drop (Pool C), with Unbounded Leap +Stealth being the additional Pool C.

Looking through my list, I see what you mean about the general patterns. Going from memory, I know I got the drop from mish complete and not a mob, however I can't be 100% certain that it wasn't from a glowie click, darn me for not being a chat logger. However, there are several sets which do not seem to follow the basic pattern that most are developing. I'll leave it with a question mark as well, and hopefully someone can confirm it. Sorry for the confusion.
Regenerative Tissue: Heal/Recharge is a rare recipe I got from completing a story arc.
Just a quick question here:
Does anyone know how much of Pool A is Uncommon, and how much of Pool A is Rare? Just need numbers, not particulars of which is which.
Currently we have 24 Rares down as Pool A, and of course all 252 Uncommons. That makes Pool A a touch under 9% Rare at the moment.
We still have 119 Rares unaccounted for though, and I suspect the majority of those are Pool A too. I suspect the final count will be closer to 25% Rare, if the patterns I've spotted so far end up being correct.
Couple or rares from Pool A:
Scirocco's Dervish Acc/Dam
Numina's Convalescense Heal
An idea for trying to plum the depths of Pool B.
This is based on something I discovered yesterday by accident. When you mission-drop a door mission, you get the same chance for getting a Pool B drop as you get from normal mission completion.
1) Have several slots open on Test. The more, the better. Remember how many you have.
2) Select a character from live who has an active mission, has not dropped in the last 7 days, and has easy access to the mission's contact (either Cell active or standing nearby.)
3) Copy that character over to test as many times as you have slots open.
4) Begin to log in the different copies, one by one, dropping the selected mission with each.
5) Record whatever Pool B drops you get.
6) As you get close to running out of copies, start deleting them and repeat from step 2 above.
In general, I would think that this would allow for many more mission completions than would be possible in normal play. Really only of use for seeing what is in Pool B, but it would be quite useful for that.

My best speed for blitzing heroic police band missions is about 17/hour. Counting login and logout times, the theoretical best possible pace using this method is about 60/hour, assuming you have a relatively fast machine. That's certainly better, but I didn't think it was worth it to basically fill the transfer queue with hundreds of copies of me to get a three times better execution rate on Pool B when it was clear even a three times better rate wasn't going to find all the Pool B drops in a reasonable amount of time, which is why I didn't switch to this method to test Pool B drop percentage rates. My original submission of about 20 or so Pool B recipes when this thread's beta board antecedent was first created was the culmination of over three hundred missions. That's five hours minimum of sustained monotonous copy/run/delete cycles, assuming the character copy tool was running practically instantaneously.
I'm not exactly trying to discourage you from trying this, unless the character copy tool suddenly becomes ten times slower, but I think it will drive you crazy before you hit the two hundredth mission drop.

_Brev_? Could you please post your current, up to date list of which IOs are in which pools? I've been trying to keep the ParagonWiki pages on the pool drops up to date. It would be nice to be able to compare to your list. Then I can add any I've missed to the wiki pages, and any that have gone to the wiki that you do not have track of yet can be listed here. (I know a couple of people have posted Pool sourcings there that were not from these boards.)
