Official Thread: Faultline Changes
I can't use my SG's teleporter to zone to Faultline. Every time I try, I get the Faultline zoning screen, and as soon as it finishes I get another loading screen for Atlas Park which puts me on the steps in front of Ms. Liberty as if I just zoned in from Outbreak.
We've had the beacon since before the zone was revamped. Is it still pointing at the old Faultline or something?

Sounds like it. Characters who were in Faultline prior to I8 got shunted into Atlas Park. Has anybody gotten a TP beacon in the new Faultline yet?
Beacons to Faulty are Faulty - tries to send yo to the old Faultline (hence to old zoning screen)
Was that way on Test too you would think they would have fixed it b4 they went live ;-)

As anyone tried removing the Beacon from their base, then re-adding it? It might just need that little kick.
In another Thread they tried that and did not work.
Maybe you need to reaquire that beacon by getting all the new badges.
tried that to, its an known bug from the test server just came along for the ride to live.
The Faultline beacon actually teleports you to the old fault map. I was at the old dam for one seconds and then the loading screen for AP appeared.
I'll wait for a redname to respond on this issue before I do the leg work for the new Faultline badges.
And if anyone has done the leg work for the new FL badges and has the coordinates -- please post em

Agent G is consistently giving me mission doors (or at least pointers to doors) that cannot be reached - first one 30 yards underground and after dropping that, 55 yards OUTSIDE THE WARWALL. I clicked on all doors in that whole quadrant of the map in case it was another pointer screw-up like in the Seer Marino missions, but no luck. This is occuring during the 3 dig sites then base missions.

Can you double-check that? There are tunnels under the end of Faultline that's opposite the Skyway entrance. There's also the Hazard Zone part beyond the War Wall at that end of the Zone (reached through those self-same tunnels or the dam) and I know of at least one mission door (a Longbow heli) that is right by the War Wall on that side. Could it just have been tricky door placement like we sometimes see in Brickstown or Skyway?

I was VERY thorough in searching for tunnels in the area - having experienced some of the quirks in Skyway . It was under the large building in the Freakshow controled area immediately west of the drowned rat badge (down in the south end- so no, it wasn't a parking structure or something). I'll try to pull up a loc of the closest spot I found. But beleive me, I had a -long- time to search for openings while waiting for a GM to not show up.
Oh, I believe you. I've just run into enough people who don't realize the zone continues beyond the dam to want to make sure that's not simply what's happening.

I've been running the Faultline missions since I8 went live.
Very nice.
I'd just like to add that I think the music for the area right as you enter is the best yet, the ambiance addition for the stores is a wonderful addition that should be included in all zones, and the feel of the zone is pretty good.
One thing a teamate noticed however, was that Kheldians who added wings to human form sometimes stayed in human form after changing to squid form. While this "bug" was active, going through one of the mine shaft elevators resulted in an "invisible" character, incapable of movement. Teleport friend of that character did not resolve the issue, but a reload did.
Ok I have a concern. I had the mish to combat 15 Vahz in Faultline as part of the Wasting Disease arc. Now I was lucky that I could drop that mish as all I found there were 6 Vahz that were +3 to me. What is going to happen when somone tries to do Nummina's TF and can not find enough Vahz?
Just a thought.

The new Faultline's pretty interesting and all. Plus the hazard zone gave me a place to finally get the Spider Smasher badge for my main- hunting Arachnos in PvP zones was just too much trouble.
I found at least three new badges while there, but could only find two of the old ones- couldn't find the Undammed or Faultless Mystic badges.
But anyway, wouldn't they have to had changed around the Positron TF to match the new scenario? The TF originally involved three villain groups trying to blow up the Overbrook dam- now the dam has already blown, and one of those villain groups has been kicked out of FL completely...
Also, while I was teamed with someone who was exploring the new FL, they claimed to have been attacked by a... tentacle... coming out of the floodwaters near the dam. I remember reading something about there being "something" released when the dam blew- anyone know anything about this?

FYI, both of the doors I've seen described in this topic are, in fact, accessed through the Arachnos tunnels underneath Faultline. Both the one underneath the Freakshow-controlled building, and the one off the left side of the map.

Four new badges in Faultline (hint - fly through the giant donut). As for the tentacles. These are the same as in the Abandoned Sewer and they are from the Kraken in the middle of said zone. They appear in New Faultline in the patches of oil and junk in the water near the dam.

Ooookaaaay. So where is the entrance to these elusive "Arachnos Tunnels"?
Edit: Right. Found the entrance. On the -south- side of the dam. I had speculated that the Arachnos Base has a tunnel entrance, but apprently hadn't puttered around in there long enough to find it. Thanks for the hint. I still think it's stupid that those tunnels run north under what is perceptually a different zone .
Played Faultline missions last night. All I have to say is "well done".

We tried Numina's TF the night that I8 went live. We eventually found the same 6 Vahz you did. We killed them all, but not one of them counted toward the 20 Vahz we needed in Faultline. We had to abandoned the TF because we couldn't get past the "Kill 20 Vahz in Faultline" mission. Numina's TF as it stands now is impossible to complete.
