Rowr draws naked?

I don't see how people can do things naked (other then the obvious. And get your minds outta the gutter on that one!).

I tend to lose focus whenever I try to do things without pants, let alone actually naked.

...What? Laundry day is a low-pants supply day!

Posted

Whn it is 35 degrees with 90% humidity... naked is just nicer.

Posted

See, I live in a place that is 2 degrees of humidity away from being a rainforest and I find if I do things without clothes there's a tendency to....um....stick to things

Posted

I thankfully live in a rather dry environment...

Meaning I don't go outside half the time, and with the AC and fans running, heat is never really an issue.

But even on those rare days where it's ungodly hot, I'll still kick back to chill in my khakis and a t-shirt. Though, on occasion, I'll wear shorts or a skirt. Depends on whether or not I think I'll need a full assortment of pockets that day. >.>

*Hugs her pockets.* If it's less then 6 pockets, it's not worth wearin' for everyday things!

What the hell? You guys Can anyone point me in the right direction of some who is trying to establish themselve. ego some who can draw my toon for free.

Hey, I look at it this way. With all the insanity going on in here, it's only a matter of time before someone wonders.. 'Dude, what the monkey?' and goes to read the original post to see how the heck we got to this point.

Free advertisement!

Or something.

It looks like you already have a great CB drawing of your toon.

I take it you are not wanting to pay... then finding someone to do work for you will be tougher. My average piece takes me about 5-10 hours. It's hard to ask someone to do that for nothing (and some guys on here take way more than that).

Keep an eye out for new artists when they come here and try to get your screenies in quick (those type of threads seem to fill up quickly). Also, watch for any contests. Some artists like to hold different types of contests with free art being a prize.

There was an op, must have missed that.

And I have yet to see a monkey, btw.

No, I am the worthless unproductive one here lately.

[/ QUOTE ]

You're unproductive? I haven't picked up a pencil since I finished the TA Chibie!

[/ QUOTE ]

I still think I lay claim to Slowest Artist on the Board. I'm still working on a piece for TA that's taken me almost 2 months. But it's almost done! Yay!

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't know about that. That may be slow and all.. But I hadn't painted/drawn or anything for 4 years until just recently... which actually makes it closer to 5.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, especially since I was wrong. It's only been one month.

And if any thread deserved hijacking, it's this one.

As such, it deserves a warning.

Bwahahahaa.... <,<

I'm sorta sorry Laz... really... just... I think this is the first thread in the art forum I've ever seen where we're only vaguely talking about art (rather than a specific piece); its kinda nice to just 'shoot the breeze' with people in this area for a change.

(Talking shop is well and good - but no one can live something 24/7 forever; you can come close; but no one is so one-dimensional!)

So uhm... appologies for the hijacking; but I'm only so sorry it happened <'x'>

<whips out 12 pack of grape soda> <. .> So... refreshments?

Is there anyway I could do something simple with my own toon? Like is it easy to do somthing in photoshop or 3D rendering? Is there some good software I can use? Like alot of you I used to be an artist and maybe this can be a way for me to tap into that again. So for all the digital artist, What are some good software to use.

Being as its starting to get late; I'm not sure how many will still be on; so I'll use my own limited knowledge to try to help >.>

The program I hear alot about on here is something called Poser... what I know about it is very limited, but it seems to be a thing where you use a pre-made model; pose it, then put custom textures and costume bits on them.

Then, they touch it up in Photoshop.

>.> Keep in mind, I'm not a digital artist; but because I don't know if anyone's gonna be around; I want to try to help where I can.

I have a friend that specializes in a lot of Poser stuff... though for some reason, I'm not entirely sure that's the correct spelling, and they're not up for me to poke at. I'm amazed I'm still up, to be honest!

But, it is a pretty good 3D rendering program, though if you're lazy and just buy sets other people have made (clothing, body sets, faces.. Tons of things), it can get pretty costly. My aforementioned friend makes quite a bit selling off stuff he's created.

Though, that's the only 3d-rendering thing I can think of off the top of my head, to be honest. I'm more of a 2d person to start with. :/

Why digital art? Why not a pen and paper? It's the drawing tools of champeens!!!

I do use Paint Shop Pro if I must, but I know a lot of people prefer Photoshop for digital art.
