Possible Easter Egg - who is Mike Apolis?

Could the words written on the plague in Nerva be an easter egg? If you scroll the camera in really close to the plagues like the ones in Crimson Cove that arent part of a history badge. I can make out all of the words, but it definatly says something.

I guess il have to go back to hunting for the secret treasure cave in Grandville again....

There's no mystery here. The man's an Artist, so when he was done with the zone, he squiggled his name in the corner...

Actually, the letters on the plaques are a standard phrase used for a -long- time (one source I found claims a few hundred years...) It's used a lot in desktop publishing for when you want to do a generic mock-up of a brochure or flyer, and just want to check out how the layout looks without having any "real" words to distract you... Supposedly the phrase is corrupted latin, or some such. If you enter the first couple of words into google, one of the top hits has a more full explanation.

Mr. Payback - lvl 12 Natural Tank
Caryatid - lvl 14 Magical Stone Tank
Chronobot - lvl 11 Tech Scrapper

I haven't read the plaques in question, but I assume you're referring to lorem ipsum?

Well, me and a few friends searched through Grandville and under it (there are some cracks under the arachnos walls around the sewage) and there were no underground tunnels besides the tech tunnels that go under the city that people already know about.

The only interesting things the zone seems to have that are special is some lvl 32 Crey bosses named Technicians which cant be attacked (Invalid Target came up when i tried to tp one). There are also the Arachnos Cruise Missels that are only in the tech tunnels and cannot be hit. A warning to those who go after these, they are lvl 47 Arachnos Drones that self destruct next to you and evade every attack thrown at them.

So if the devs hid something in the zone, its either small enough to not see from below the zone, or hidden in a building. But theres no tunnels with treasure in them...

Hmmm, this explains the name of the cartography store in, I think, Nerva, called "Mapolis."

And, point of information, an Easter Egg is *hidden.* That's hidden hidden, not just hard to see. A true Easter Egg would be behind a door that's not supposed to open, or a graphic that's invisible unless you stand in the right spot, or using a power in a specific place that causes an NPC to say something in response, or an undocumented emote.

The Mike Apolis plaque is a just a hard-to-spot tag.

The Mapolis cartographer, is an in-joke.

Automatons asking for the TPS reports is an allusion.

I thought of it more as an homage.

Says you. My 1 and 1/2 hours of looking say otherwise for me.

Could I, if not everyone, got some kind of helpful hint? I don't want to beg for exact instructions, but I really don't feel like combing all of Grandville.

There's a somewhat Y-shaped tunnel that goes like this:
<font class="small">Code:[/color]<hr /><pre>
The Fab
|
|
|
North Dock |
|_________________|
|
|
|
|
"The Core"
</pre><hr />

I searched through that tunnel system several times and found zip. Unless there's some secret dance I have to do in front of the right NPC down there...

I've searched those tunnels for holes or any other things that could lead to a secret area. I wondered if there was a false wall somewhere, but I didn't feel like running into the wall for the entire path. From the screenshots, the texturing definetly seems to be in that area, but that could be wrong. There could be a smaller, seperate tunnel somewhere else not connected to the Fab Tunnel...

Though I'm not really asking for directions or anything, I'd like to know... how is the area hidden? Hole in the wall? In a ceiling? Fake wall (looks solid but can be walked through)? Just a really obscure path?

Someone in Grandville told me that it was found through a marked door (similar to how the Monkey Fight Club is marked), but I saw no such thing in the tunnels, so...

I guess il help

If you enter the tunnels from the entrance in the Fab and go south look for the entrance in the corner of a right turn. If you hit the area where you choose to go to the beach access or the core you've gone too far. Make sure to have you sound fx on so you can hear the whipping and explosive diarrhea.

And if anyone can figure out what song is being sung in the men's room plz say, i cant make it out.

The Arachnos Flier makes then when it fights along with the banes, but besides that they only spawn in that one spot in the tunnels. If you see them, dont take them on, they self destruct before you can take them out.

Found the secret room after much searching, it is an actual secret entrance. Inside is the design team's names on a board and each has a cubicle and there are what I assume are their pictures as well.

A coalition buddy also found a small underwater area, probably to show us what to expect in an underwater zone. I dont remember exact location but its around the west wall on the beach, its a small pool surrounded by some rocks, you jump in the water and you fall through some and see a lvl 15ish coralax doing an emote.

You'll also see Oceanborn bouncing up and down next to that Coralax.
