I'm pretty sure there will be a Portal Jockey type badge with a requirement to kill all of the Phalanx members or something within the lvl 40-50 content.

Eh, not so much, on at least a few of them. I suspect the hard-core badgers, like myself, will get a couple on log-on, and a couple more after we pick up whatever new history and exploration badges are available.
Those who have not completed the simple expedient of getting every available exploration, history, accomplishment, and non-epic achievement badge ahead of time will be wondering, though.
Will the new Accolades Hurt Badges like the current ones do?
IE damage taken and HPS healed in the "Accolade bonus" HPs never get counted??

Has this ever been proven as anything more than an urban legend?
But, yeah, accolades in I7 are going to be so much easier to figure out how to unlock than CoH's in I2 were. For one, we've had months to amass our badge collections to the point of some of us almost having all the epic badges already. And, two, we pretty much know what to expect.
I think figuring out what unlocks everything will be just as easy as figuring out what badges/actions unlock gladiators. It might take us a week or two, but we'll get it done.

I don't know... those who have the badges needed for the accolades will simply see "ACCOLADE EARNED!" when Issue 7 goes live, and will get it's effect. They don't tell you what badges you need for them by default.

Considering one of the inactive badges in the lists made from pigg files is for exactly that, I would not be surprised in the least.

For the most part, we had all of the working gladiators organized in a week or two. What threw a spanner in the works were the dozen or so gladiators that weren't working at the time that Recluse fixed.
