You really want to know? The trick is the permissions. You set the permissions, and you have about 20 seconds to actually accept the TP, regardless of where the person doing it went to, did, or anything. That person could have died, but so long as the power went off, and the "do you want to accept a recall friend" window is up and counting down, you can click yes and get ported right there.
It makes for GREAT timing tricks.
Blaster wants to pull, but there's not safe spot? Teleport them, then as the count down goes, snipe, then accept!
Want to bungee jump from the top of a building, but don't trust your friend's timing? Have them port first, then once it activates, leap, and pick the time when YOU zip back up to the top!
Wanna do the bait and switch in PvP? Recall friend as often as it's up, and when someone interrupts, let them know in team, and they port there from the previous one!
There are lots of ways to use Recall Friend now that they added the delay and timer.

A while ago a few friends and I made some Claymations - my favorite was one where this stupid guy punched this guy for calling him dimb. Then he tackled him and punched him again, and blood shot out everywhere. Then a KNEX peice came down from the heavens and stabbled them both, as "Happy Birthday" flashed across the screen. It was pure magic, I tell you.

Guys: Why would _castle_ be concerned with castling in the first place... Have you though that _castle_ is analogous to Statesman as a rook is to a king? Given _castle_'s prolific commentary and willingness to take heat for things other devs would hesitate to say, we can clearly see hes playing a strawman tactic at forum chess.

I've actually seen castling used offensively before--it was a complicated fool's mate setup, and the guy's opponent got suckered completely. I'm not much of a chess player, and I don't remember exactly how it went, but it looked brilliant at the time. Maybe he's swapping places with a mastermind to AS the guy that was about to clobber him? How well does simultaneous Recall Friend work for swapping places? (I suppose you'd need an interrupt reducer in it.)
