Also: I'm not seriously considering looking into placing an order at MMOArt, simply because of the artist's work for Static's Son.

Spring break was great. We are trying to catch up and hope to get some more done here. The boys have a science fair project due in 2 weeks so that is first priority.

It's been said numerous times already but I had to say it again. I really want to give props to everyone here who is helping out Static and his son. All of the art is amazing and very generous. I can't wait for the finished product. I love the dream bubble Roxstar. Very nice idea.
I also have to say that it's threads like this that remind me why I still pay for my CoH account even though I rarely play. Being able to post in a thread like this is worth the money.

What a horrible week. Well the good news first, the science fair was a blast.
Bad news. Keyboard crashed. Bad port.
Bader news. Power supply went up.
Baddest news. Motherboard went as well.
Best news. Just bought a new computer and need to reinstall all.
Will try to finish soon unless I get fired as I have not sent in any work since it is on the crashed computers hard drive. Oh, well. I will work it all out

Damn, that sounds like one hell of a week. I hope you get everything up and running without any problems. Hopefully your employer will understand the crashed system and won't hold that against you. /Crosses fingers
Oh wow I knew we had a pretty great community but this just confirms it.
On a side note, I'm a rather amature artist myself and while I can't create anything compared to Gills or the the others here I think I'm gonna try a few renditions of my own on a few of the charactors. If i like any of them I'll post them for your boy to colour if he likes.
Again A+++ work everyone and your generosity amazes.

Not too start a Flame War, but I'm 14 and I find that a little offensive. I mean, I understand what you mean because most kids my age are total [bad words] and that makes your comment totally understandable.
BUT.
I have met a TON of teenage players in the game, half of them better than the adults. I have also met quite a few teens in the forums, the best being Mr_Samoa and a few others whose name I cannot remember at the moment.
But anyway, the point is, not all of us teens are total losers like the ones you find in WoW. In fact, it seems as if there are more teens here than in WoW.
That is all. Get back to your normal thread.

Threads such as this really show what the community is made of, in most games these sort of things are flamed off the boards or mocked by the playerbase. Its great that Gill and the others take time out of the day to help out Static and his son. It makes me proud to pay for and play CoX, I for one give props to all the artists who who have contributed to this eight year old boys dream. 
Keep up the good work guys and girls, i'd help out as well but the most you will get from me a stick figure..I call him Sticky..

Sorry if I offended anybody with that. I didn't mean it as a jibe at anyone. Perhaps I should have clarified more. There are indeed many young players who are perfectly mature. Case in point, the ones who posted here.
