I wish I knew more about the program. I think it is a little too unfriendly with set up. It almost makes me want to do everything myself under Publisher. I am only still plugging along because I have seen some nice work completed with it.
I was actually looking into this program as well. I want to do a comic book for TA someday too.
So is the story all set then static? Just need to put it all together?

I have posted all that he has so far. We are trying to convert that into comic boxes. I am trying to stay true to his intent so he isn't accepting some of my offerings so the process is taking longer.
Hope to have a page or so up this month. We are doing 6 box pages.

I just read this thread and wanted to say I think it's awesome you're helping your son with this. It's so great to see parents doing things with their kids. It's also wonderful how everyone has helped you out with it. 
I promise he is working on it. Summer time has hit him.

I just read this thread recently, and think it is great what you and your' son are doing this together. The help from eveyone else is amazing! This is why I love this game so much, everyone is freindly and wants to help however they can. Gill you also do great work, i checked out your' site and when i have some spare cash and you take some more orders I will be asking for your' services .
I can also draw a lil, not to got good with people though, its more like design stuff. Soon I will be practicing off some of the characters from everyone. This thread has inspired to start drawing again. I wish I could post them and let everyone see, but i dont have a scanner.
I also look forward to seeing the completed version of this comic. Even if it is from an 8 year old, I think it is a great story. Lots of imagination, which is what's great about his age.

Gill. Thanks for still being on board. I have been looking at your site and you have been busy. I am so happy for you. You do amazing work and we are lucky to have you and all the other great people helping out. I know one day he will be able to look back and remember this.
btw. We went to a comic book store the other day and he couldn't stop talking about the drawings you did. He even saw a picture of Bill Gates and thought it was you, lol.

Sorry. Summertime has been hitting us hard. The kid has no desire to do anything except play outside and swim.
I have tried to prod him along by putting some storyboard ideas together. He looks at them and then asks if he can go back outside.
Please don't give up on us. We will be back.

I feel ya. I picked the wrong time to start drawing again. I'm having too much fun watching my 9 month old son explore the world around him.
Of course, he is also the main reason I decided to to take up the pencil again. He is my inspiration in so many things in life now.
Enjoy your family time and come back this project when your both ready. We'll still be here.

Yes, yes, it's good to swim...
That program is awesome isn't it?! I love the Comic Book Creator. I use it for my comic online. The only reservation I have about it is that it leaves all that white space around the finished page.
Do you know how to get rid of that? oh well. It is still an awesome program. Have fun making the comic of your son!
