I believe Gill is paying a slight homage to Plastic Man, since red and black were part of his signature colors 
Of course I could be wrong but that's what I thought of when I saw the coloring.

I kind of wanted them all to have something in common. THey also all have freckles. I believe they are all supposed to be the same person but I'm not sure

Celty, while I appreciate the support, I can barely draw stick figures. I like to think I can write a pretty good funnybook, but my artwork hasn't progressed much since second grade. David cooks with gas, though, as do a bunch of those others you mentioned.

Man I'm gonna have to go recolor all the ones I did! Yay for conformity!!! That's cool I'm getting better each time I'm doing it. Hey Gill do you have any suggestions on any good photoshop websites that specialize in comic coloring? I have a few but I just wanted some more insight.
All those pix are pretty good. I always wished I could draw lke that. I wouldn't mind making a few pictures of my hero during my free time. Too bad I'm no good at it. 
Anyone know if theirs a way to learn to draw like that online?

Gill. Great. You are correct, they are all supposed to be the '8' yr old turned into these characters. So carrying over the freckles and blue eyes is really cool. We also like how you gave them all shoulder pads and a belt.

The '8' yr old love the SPIKE. He thinks it is really cool and goes well with the group. It even looks like he could do the rolling spike ball attack. The girl is great but of course it is confusing for him to turn into a girl. Thanks for your cool drawings.

Interesting idea cropped up last night - anyone else thought about creating these characters in CoH (as close as one could) an gathering for a screen shot? Might be kinda cool addition.
