Upgraded Auto Doc/Tree of Wonder (Inspiration dispensers)
Originally suggested by: Masked Malard (and probably others)

Type: Unlocked, crafted on expert tables
Description: Upgrades to the current Inspiration dispensers, that will open up new inspirations, and higher grade ones. One of the greatest benifits is that it provides a great way to stalk up on those awakens and such on those TF's gone bad.

Gladiators/mercenaries/guards
Originally suggested by: Many
Category: Defense
Customizable? y
Type: Unlocked, crafted on expert tables
Description: Through an expensive Control item, the SG/VG can have npcs that will patrol and defend the base. There should be several choices to chose from and a couple upgrades (sorta like MM pets). Mercenaries, Robots, Demons, ghosts, Ninja, Zombies, Thugs, Security guards, and Scientists should be options. Also each one should have the SG/VG emblem and colors if possible.

Use of all the Danger Zone Beacons (currently 6) are needed in early base development and a reason to get the Mission computer without needing a Secure Room for an Item of Power. Two possible solutions other than building a second Transport room.

Advanced TP Pad
Originally suggested by: many ppl
Category: Main Item
Customizable: Allows 3 aux (Beacons)
Type: unlocked, crafted, placement cost (25K @)
Description: Able to have three Danger Zone Beacons attached. Permitting small bases to use their Danger Zone Beacons without having to play “sell/buy so we can go here now”.
Size: Same as Basic TP Pad
Unlocked by: 6 Danger Zone Beacons + 3 History Badges + completing a SG Mission.

Expert TP Pad
Originally suggested by: many ppl
Category: Main Item
Customizable: Allows 6 Zones (any type) per pad.
Type: unlocked, crafted, placement cost (50K @)
Description: These pads will allow us to connect up to six zones each. We can exit either from the Base point in a Major Zone or the Beacon Point in a Danger Zone. These pads use some very strange materials we brought back from the other dimension. I don’t know if it’s alien technology or magic. But it’s so advanced it might as well be magic.
Size: Same as Basic TP Pad
Unlocked by: Advanced TP Pad + completing another SG Mission.
Suggest: The mission use one of the Dimensional Portals on Peregrine Island.

SG Zone Badges: Unlocked by locating All Exploration Badges in a Zone and a SG Mission in each Zone.

OR

Alternative 3x3 Transport Room
Teleport Pads: 4
Defenses: 0
Aux Teleport Connections: Unlimited
Decorative: Unlimited
Cost: 200,000

Both of the above would be really great!

Some aesthetics:
An Arboretum Room
A Sky view ceiling
Weather: Fog/Rain/Snow/Wind/etc
Scenery Windows / Whole walls seasonal views

Item name: Trap room
Originally suggested by: me

Type: unlocked
Description: This room appears to be a regular 20 x 20 with one open door one closed door, Once the closed door is interacted with both doors lock and the placed trap(s) (i.e. Popup turrets, acidic cloud generators, goblin tossers, popup flame throwers, repulsion cannon ) and the room trap (tech room would be one big robot, magic room would call forth huge ogre) will spring basically to wreak havoc amongst the invaders.
Limitations: (if any. What can't be done with your item? How many can fit in a base? Etc.)

Dresser
Originally suggested by: Me, though I see similar ideas
Category: item
Type: unlocked, purchased
Description: Allows you to "upload" a costume from any of your slots into a big repository of costumes (say 16 to begin with, enhanceable to 32 and 64). You can also "download" a costume off the Dresser into any of your slots. Both things cost influence to do, but not as much as it'd be to make the costume at Icon, since it's no longer a 'custom job'. That'd allow both to have a SG uniform downloadable into any toon without everybody having to go and redesign it off the specs, and for that single Icon nut that's in every SG to upload ten different costumes and carry only 4 around.
Limitations: can't make new costumes. Only 'save' and 'load' ones you already did, and paid for, at Icon.

Lava
Originally suggested by: Satanic Hamster, others?
Category: Decorative
Customizable? no
Type: Purchased
Description: Cracked rocks with lava showing, as per caves. Animated lava flows, pools, fountains, etc. This could also be a Defensive Room purchase like mines that does a minor DoT on contact, but then it'd probably have to be destructible.
Limitations: Either decorative or destructible.

Decoys
Originally suggested by: DojromTRW, Henry_Stephens, ?
Category: defensive/raid
Customizable? no
Type: crafted, poss. unlocked after multiple Raid missions.
Description: Decoys are destructible Raid items that have the same graphic as other destructibles, but do not actually function. They are targetable, destructible, and cost less prestige to purchase and place than their "real" counterparts. Their main function is to waste the Raider's time and energy, lure them into deathtraps, or lure them away from expensive-to-repair base items.
Limitations: Cost power and control. No functionality other than being destructible. Limited placement options. Built from salvage. Items destroyed in a raid cannot be repaired.

Gah! how could I have missed it? All righty then...

Animated Wall Items
Originally suggested by: Satanic Hamster, many others
Category: decorative
Customizable? no, but a wide variety of options preferable.
Type: new item tab, purchased in edit window
Description: wall items that simulate "windows" to other places: Aquariums/underwater scenes, Starfield/outer space/moonscape, Skyscrapers with birds and the occasional cape flying by, beaches or sunsets, etc. Some (but not all) should also emit light, as a real window would.
Limitations: Wall-mounted. Decorative only. Limited amount placeable, as animations take up a lot of processor time.

Aquarium
Originally suggested by: Satanic Hamster
Category: decorative
Customizable? no
Type: purchased or craftable
Description: freestanding aquarium in various sizes and styles, animated with fish, bubbles and that little diver that goes up and down ceaselessly. Capable of mesmerizing the most strong-willed catgirl.
Limitations: Strictly decorative, unless you count the catgirl thing. Limited placement, as per any heavily animated item.

Room Divider Screens
Originally suggested by: Winter Blaze
Category: Room Details
Customizable? No
Type: purchased
Description: It's a panneled room divider screen. Perhaps 1, 2, 3 and 4 panel options can be included. Some could have oriental detailing and some could be plain or different colors
Limitations: It's pure fluff, but would help break up a room and create different areas within it by providing a "wall" (not too tall, just like a plain old screen) to separate seating areas, beds, etc.

Doors
Originally suggested by: Mr. Sprinkles
Category: Base Defense/Decoration
Description: Simply put, it'd be great to plant a door in a doorway, RIGHT along where the two rooms have their styles conflict. This would not only serve to be visually pleasing, but could provide a base defense. They would come in two different categories, decorative and base defense. Decorative would open on a right-click by someone, just like the sewer/warehouse/tech lab doors in missions, and likely close about five seconds after being opened. Defensive doors would follow the same guidelines, except that only base defenders could open them during a base raid, and they would be destroyable by the enemy raiders, as the council cell doors are.
Limitations: Can only be placed in doorways, with a limit of only one door per doorway.

Guardian Statues
Originally suggested by: Sleepy kitty? (not sure if I'm first)
Category: decorative
Customizable? no
Type: purchased or craftable

Description: <.< similar and same as the magic forcefield statue thingies, just only 10-100 prestige and don't do anything other than look really cool. Obviously Lions (besides the gargoyle grotesques), maybe some great Danes (dogs, ick!). These statues can be placed right next to doors (main use) but also look great everywhere ^.^ (I really want these, especially in the portal room to great ppl, I suggest the devs have a look at the old Tomb ones in the British museam (they're phinxes) and the normal great lions).

Limitations: no way at all used in pvp, does NOT make forcefields, they just look great!

Water tiles
Originally suggested by: <.< me, amoung others probably

Customizable? yes
Type: purchased

Description: These are more an extra style option than something bought, but a purchaseable version could be doable in the form of one of those nice fountains that Galaxy had pre-arena, or maybe a birdbath or pool. Purely decore, these water tiles are for adding a stream, river, or lake to a room in your base. Possibly selectable to only effect a certain amount of the rooms tiles and depth od water based on how high it is from bottom floor lvl.

Limitations: purely decore, have no useful funtions ecept splashing ppl in the deeper ones.

Outdoor Areas to Bases
Originally suggested by: (In this way, me)

Ramps (Wall-jointed)
Originally suggested by: Ruin_of_Iron
Category: decorative/room detail
Customizable? no
Type: Purchased in edit window
Description: Right now you can only build stairways with a one-floor-level difference. We need a variation of the available ramps (wooden or tech grated) that is wall-jointed instead of floor-jointed. These items could be "stacked" to create multi-level ramps. Can't get to your upper upper platform? Want to actually REACH that nifty balcony you bought? Now you can! Freestanding two-level staircases (spiral or otherwise) would also be nifty, if a little difficult to place.
Limitations: normal decorative-placement rules apply. Requires walls.

<.< this is more a general suggestion on handling new base stuff than a specific item.

o.o while we'd love to have alot of the things on this list... I think it would be a good idea to take a cue from other videogames and make them more unlockable. What the game is serverally laking in is SG content. Having a few sg missions to open up stuff as well as TFs would be great.

Have a single mission that fits with some story arc (or maybe a story arc for the sg missions that unlocks SG history badges. Ones about the back story sgs that we hear about but don't know anything) to unlock some of the simpler things, then have a TF against a logical group (like DE for outdoor base areas, Coralex for water floors or tiles) for the big things like new room types.

>.> Bases already have plenty of PvP stuff, it's more the SG stuff that I'd love to see for them. Other than instant raids, I haven't really met any sgs doing the regular pvp (might be no one can really aford it yet, no idea ^^ sorry). O.O badges in gerneral seem to be very popular addition to the game, I can see having alot of non pvp usable unlockables as also being big. Most of the ones right now are solly for PvP, meaning that only a pvping group will really bother..

They should make a training room that works like the arena but in your base.

Ceiling Mount
Originally suggested by: Ruin of Iron
Category: Defensive aux
Customizable? no
Type: unlockable purchased (like teleport beacons)
Description: Fitting a Ceiling Mount to a defensive item inverts it and places it on the ceiling instead of the floor. Advanced Ceiling Mounts might also "conceal" the item until an enemy triggers it. (for instance, a turret unfolds out of the ceiling and fires). This is not just a cosmetic change - Ceiling Mounts should affect LOS targeting calculations for both items and attackers.
Limitations: Primarily for turrets/throwers. Not usable on mines or explosive runes. (why would you want it to, anyway?) Inverted items can't be stacked over non-inverted items.

Room Music
Originally suggested by: Veneficus , Sleepy Kitty, Anti_Proton
Category: <.< Decore! except not!
Customizable? yups
Type: unlocked

Description: tab next to the lighting tab, allows you to set background music to the room from a selection of ingame music (not just boombox stuff). This music is specific to a single room (or base when "apply to base" button is clicked).

Limitations: Music soundtracks are unlocked by some method (certain number of sg members have been to that zone.. for that sound track, missions against the villains that are found in that zone.. maybe just crafted from salvage (the cds/speakers for the music that is)) and SGs don't just start with them.

explanation <.< I know this has been sorta mentioned before, but the two previous listings of this where badly worded, I think this better explains of what it should be.
