I've got almost the exact same badges, plus a few. And I've got all the contacts completely filled. He gets referred by Diviner Maros as an errand mission, but that doesn't unlock him.

Taraxis is a Go See contact for a couple of things. Your contacts says Go see Tarxis and he just sends you to actual mission for someone else. You also go speak to him on the Respec.

Team up with a level 30+ guy who's hunting CoT and stay away from him so you don't earn any XP. You'll still get the badge. But this maybe tricky to find someone willing to help. But I've meet a lot of nice people out there, so how knows.

The Weed Whacker badge is for CoT Bosses that are CoV-ONLY (otherwise those stinkin' Heroes could get the badge!).

Unfortunately, most of those bosses are level 30+, not a good requirement for a contact that is only level 25 to 29.

So we are changing the badge required to unlock him to something that is attainable once you get into Sharkhead. The badge will no longer be Weed Whacker to unlock him.

What about getting the Privateer badge? I've only succeeded in trapping three ghosts and two times it erupted in purple and red spawns (one was white and blue, but still more than enough to overwhelm me). On top of that, the trap might as well be disabled for all the good it does, since the huge spawns just stand there around it.

The problem is that these spawns are all 11+, and doesn't Lunata have a 5-10 story arc?

Additionally, since we're on contacts, is there any reason that Bocor or Vendetti will refuse to give you their badge missions if you haven't outleveled them?

Personaly I think the Devs should simply make Lunata a level 10-15 contact. I got my Privateer badge at 14 after three bars of debt because of Red Terrors (Elite Boss that pops out of the traps when they overload) and his army of LTs and Bosses. So 10-15 it's still hard, but more reasonable to get the badge.

Don't look to gain xp. Also anyone with any sense knows that their first alt is going to run into a lot of bugs and miss a lot of content.

Positron, on a similar note, the ghost busting you do at Fort hades....it takes a good group of lvl 15 or 16s to hold down a ghost containment unit WHEN it blows up and releases ghosts...1 elite boss, 3 or so bosses (white or blue at 16) and a bunch of LTs and Minions.

My SG did it the other night and unlocked the special contact outside Fort hades that leads you on a ghost story arc...however, the story arc mobs cap at lvl 10 or 11. There is NO WAY anyone will have the 100 Ghost badge by lvl 10. You would NOT survive long as a 10 or 11 in Fort Hades, and a trap explodes....and you die before you can react (I was lvl 12 when i tried to solo there.)

Therefore, everyone saw a bunch of greys....we slaughtered the grey, or skipped them completely to get to the end reward (we all synched up our missions of course)....at the end we got 0 exp or prestige or infamy....but we did finish another arc and got a souvenir.

You should REALLY consider toning down the penalty of a ghost trap exploding in Fort hades...or raise the story arc levels up some. No one at 10 can do those things. Even in a group.

Yes he is giving me missions now, and another one of my friends started that contact on his own without me telling him.

I posted my list of badges so u can look to see and compare what i have and what you didn't have.

It may also depend on your level, not your badges.

EDIT: er i got the names mixed up i've been getting missions from diviner Maros. So far i've talked to Archmage Tarixus because diviner maros sends u to him, and the lvl 30 aura mission sends u to him. I haven't cleared the AV miss from diviner maros yet, so i'll let you know after i do that.

You can get the Sweet Tooth badge in Cap Au Diable. But it requires using a hole in the terrain and having the ability to fly. You can use a rocket pack, or the pool powers to get to it.

Hopefully that badge will be moved in an upcoming patch and the big hole in the terrain fixed.

I did it by myself and at the time the lvl 15 elite boss would woop my [censored]. They don't seem to despawn either. So what i did at the time, since no one else was ghost trapping, is that after they spat out the eilte bosses, i would just use a different trap.

Yeah, it's sad those Elite Bosses don't despawn. It kinda seems like something with the potential for greifing. Filling up all the traps and letting him out and just watch him stay there forever. Mess things up for a lot of people.

I am suggesting no such thing. I merely pointed out, that it is possible to obtain. I did not say where any holes were, nor will I. If someone wants to take the time to get this, then they assume all the responsibility for it.

Um..Posi, have you forgotten about the CoT Bosses that hang around in the lower right corner of Mercy Island? They are all over the place, with their wicked rituals and bad breath. THe ones I saw were all around level 10.

Not really, it's more jerk like. I was trying to say that it's expliotable and the Devs should change it so they despawn after a while.

hmm the chain of contacts seem to be bugged, after completing the sharkhead AV story arc, crash cage is now giving me an old story arc that caps at 25, that deals with COT, so we'll see what happens after i finish this arc

Yeah, the traps exploding are a big problem with ghost busting. Like was said: you can escape in time if you see the trap exploding, but the ghosts don't despawn. So, now you need to move on.

ALOT of the traps I was near had turrets around them, or close enough I was taking damage from them....unless you are VERY VERY careful and even then, you are gonna die a lot.....you cannot complete this badge before you outlevel the arc the lady gives it to you at
