How come we have no red servers yet???
Not if Statesman has his way... for there will be only ONE SERVER, all of us, crushed together like digital sardines, so he can save himself money and fatten his gullet with our fees. He rules us like a petty king who shows only contempt for his subjects!
HE MUST BE STOPPED!

Show the Devs that you do care about the future of the game... and that future does not have Statesman's poorly thought-out and probably narcotically induced "visions".
DOWN WITH STATESMAN!
Ok so I now know what ED is, but I don't see it as a problem myself. I have been asking the Devs through posts on these boards since shortly after the game was released to do something about the fact that the way they designed the game ( in spite of their actual vision ) it is all about DPS and since there was no apparent cap on the amount of damage a player could do they were 5 or 6 slotting any damage power with damage enhancements. When most powers can take Accuracy, End reduction, Recharge reduction, Range increase as well as damage, but nobody ever uses them, what is the purpose of them or of those powers being able to be slotted with them??
I would have doen it by putting a damage cap on the powers rather than diminishing the return on having more than 2 enhancements of the same type. I think it would have done what they wanted with a heck of a lot less complaining.
I have seen many complaints about the enhancement changes affecting how Hasten works and people no longer being able to have it on almost continually. Again I have had no trouble with the change. I had it four slotted ( all I ever planned to put in it too ) before the change with recharge reduction enhancements and it works just the same now as it did before the change. ( at most 5 seconds more to recharge now ) I think the changes will help to start eliminating the belief in optimal or perfrct builds. I don't know if the way they have chosen to do it will be the best way, but so far so good.

In addition (and it may be a blow to the American ego), the North American market is essentially a test market for the Asian market where the real money is. CoH/CoV makes a bit of money right now, but ultimately the game is being groomed for Asian release where the economies of scale can be more profitable. It most likely doesn't matter if CoH/CoV ever gets close again to 200K with the North Atlantic subscriptions.

In other words, they do NOT care about us. We are only beta testers for the Asian release.
Statesman, deny that if you dare.
I only wish I had realized this truth a year and a half ago. :/

Now, come on Remus, let's be fair.
You're telling me that if you had believed that, you wouldn't have played? If you hadn't you would have missed at least a year when the game was very much to your liking.
Things change. If you're not having fun now, I can't argue with you. However, it would be silly to throw away all the time that you DID have fun.
That's like saying that if I had known, I wouldn't have married my psycho first wife. Sure, my life would have been easier, but I wouldn't have three very fine children.

I can see how you could leap to that conclusion, since you were looking for a rationalization for your anxiety, but it's not well-supported. Draaaaa-ma.

I don't beta-test games. No interest in doing so. I don't even download patches for single-player games that I buy -- if the game doesn't work right, I return it or delete it. I just want things to work.
Someone's going to pipe up now and say that 'MMOGs don't work like that', neglecting that I've talked about playing EQ, AC, and GW. The changes to COH are far worse than any changes those games went through. (I've also played AO and SB, but I regret trying both of them.)

I have no children from my ex-wife, but had I known what she would put me through, I *definitely* would have avoided marrying her.
