He so smart, he stupid. (Web of Arachnos spoilers)

People askig if Recluse is an Incarnate of Hades/Zeus/whatever-else: NO. He's an Incarnate of Tartarus, which, at least in the myths I know, is the realm Hades rules, but in the CoX mythos, seems to be a person/god. But then again, Gaia 'is' the Earth, so Tartarus-as-entity makes some sense in that context.
EDIT: And /e mansquee I posted in a thread Manticore posted to! I can die happy now - the only thing better would be a)to ding 50, b)to post in a thread and then Manticore posts in it, or c)to actually be replied to/quoted by Manticore...

There are other ideas about that as well: Tartarus

In Camazotz all are equal. Everybody is the same as everybody else.
well it was about Hades/Tartarus, so i think it was appropriate
Goodbye, I guess.

When Mussolini fell, Arachnos splintered. The Center took a small group and formed the Council. At that time Arakhn stayed with the Council and Requiem was placed in the 5th Column as a mole.

Sorry to bring up the Council/Arachnos ties again but where does the Path of the Dark fit into all this. From the story arc in CoH we learn that this group is at least 1500 years old and it seems that the Council is a later form of the Path. Was the Path a faction within Arachnos controlled by the Nictus and then just split off as a unit after Mussolini fell to become the Council?

Sorry (do I need to be sorry about this? Is it against a rule, or just common 'courtesy'?), I found this by a Google search trying to find out (at least what people think) Elementar's Origin/AT/Powersets would be, for the purposes of attempting a Next-Gen version/homage in hopes of getting him into Young Phalanx (once their site's up again, if I even bother now), and I didn't notice the date of the last post.

The Path of the Dark is a Nictus organization (post-retcon, anyway), not part of the Council, based at their Shadow Cyst in Ravenna. Arakahn sent Ridolfo "Requiem" Uzianno there to bond with a Nictus; he's been sending people there since to become War Wolves. Why he sends people to Italy to turn them into War Wolves when the process doesn't actually involve bonding with a Nictus, or how the Nictus could have instant transit to earth (possibly for 1500 years) without overruning the planet is just one of the little warts that crept in with the change in the storyline.

If it's to continue the discussion, to add to it or for a good reason, go for it. Nothing wrong with picking up a discussion again. If it's just to clutter up the front page with a bunch of old threads, the mods will lock it. This hasn't been locked so, I'm guessing the mods didn't see anything wrong with it.

-As far as Maria Jenkins goes, there is a mistake in her bio information. Maria Jenkins was Madame Danger not Maiden Justice. She worked with Statesman in the 30's. Sorry for the confusion.

1 - good book, could've been written better but overall was quite good, I personally can't wait for the next book.
2 - Will bios and backstories (clicking ask about this contact stuff) be cleaned up, and when?
