Agreed, but I would still give up any of those buffs for fixed placate.

That was only the reason at first. However as it grew to be a bigger problem because of how many people complained about it I had PMed him and he gave me the response that I posted before.

Only reason it hasn't been addressed yet is because it is a code bug. This means that it falls on the responsibility of the people who work on all of the global bugs, meaning if it comes down to a global issue or Placate, the global issue gets picked.

I just guess they have always had some kind of issue to work on OR they have just put it aside and decided to look at the AT as a whole so that they can fix everything at once instead of bits and pieces over time.

The reason we don't have Placate getting fixed currently is because it is a coding issue. This means that Castle himself has no control over it. It goes to the global issue guys and when it comes to global issues, ie: "global chat, or database corruptions, or Placate, Placate comes in second."

So eventually it will get fixed, it just comes down to not having other more "pressing" issues. I know that we all think that Placate IS a pressing issue, but they just don't view it that way.

actually yes to the first remark and no to the second cause I do get it. I played a stalker for a while and did just fine with it no complaints had alot of fun with it. So why isn't everyone who has a stalker complaining? probably because they know how to build them.

Wow. Just continue to show your ignorance bud. If you are implying that we don't know how to build a stalker, then you are just not smart. We post because we realize that the stalkers are BROKEN. We build them as well as possible, but we still see that they aren't up to what they should be. Why aren't the other people complaining?

A) They don't care enough to get involved.

B) They don't realize that their stalker can be so much better if its core powers actually worked!!!

I have tested placate over and over again. If you look at the first posts in this thread you will see that I PMed Castle and he said that they didn't plan on fixing it anytime soon because Stalkers were already "the number 1 killer in PvP". That is ridiculous and a terrible excuse as to why not to fix the CORE POWER in an AT.

We complain because we care. We try because we care. And me seeing you telling us to stop complaining is an insult.

Please don't continue to tell us not to complain. It would be like telling us that we don't care.

IMO the whole point of a stalker nowadays is to invoke the fear that we can invoke. Of course we can kill, we can chase em down, and we can finish em off. But once we show ourselves they will never have another peaceful moment.

They won't know if we are there, they can't see us anymore. If they never stop moving then we know taht we did our job. Get a team, get them to help you. Get a few Corruptors and track down that son of a [censored].

Ah, this thread brings back memories it does. Well I'm back. And I have one thing to say about this. I have learned to use this bug. But it STILL hurts my PVPing. I have learned how to cope with it and almost use it to my advantage. ALMOST being the key word. This IS long overdue, but so are many other things.

PvP has never been a huge priority for the Devs. They say that they will make changes, but it is a long time before they do. Well Devs, I think it has been long enough. It is time for a change. Everyone knows that at this point in time Stalkers ARE NOT the best PvPers. Maybe talented stalkers can be good, but never excellent. Blasters damage just overcomes them. Scrappers outlast them. Stalkers need help.

And fixing placate is the way to go. I know that every stalker there ever was or is will be happy. Make us happy Devs. Fix this bug.

Spines a much better set in Siren's because you get 2 GREAT attacks in Impale and in Ripper. Sometimes I just fly around looking for fliers to bring them down.

I love just using Impale dropping them then either finishing them off or I just fly off to find another to drop. It's very funny and fun.

Spines is an amazing set because of versatility whereas Claws completely relies on Focus.

I am dissapointed as well. With this answer it means that any Spines stalker has placate as useless.

I may even try to drop placate and see how I do with the free power because Spines doesn't do enough burst damage to 2 shot anyone even with AS-Placate-Impale.

Heck I'm sure I could find a better power. I'm very annoyed at this and it makes my stalker not as fun.

I've PMed Castle about this and he's said that Placate was working as intended. Now I PMed him about Spines so I'm not sure about the others, but he did say that Spines is a very powerful set and that Placate is working as intended.

I'm guessing that the change to Placate was to keep it from becoming too powerful, but to me Placate is SUPPOSED to be powerful. In a stalker set we automatically have to take 3 I REPEAT 3 attacks in order to be effective. Then we automatically take hide. THAT'S 4 POWERS THAT ARE ALREADY CHOSEN FOR US!!! Making one of them less powerful isn't fair.

Now I think that this issue DEMANDS a redname post.

On a sidenote I say that Hide becomes an inherent as well as Assassination as it really is only fair.
